It just depends on what actual 'issues' are being raised. Why does pointing out issues or even perceived issue have to equate to mopery?
Last year, even though we beat the brakes off the same team, if someone wanted to raise questions about our secondary, it was totally valid, because we just got gashed over and over and over (and over and over) by the same slow slot receiver. It was abundantly clear after that game that Daryl Porter was not a good nickelback and we didn't really have a good one on the roster. If you want to point out such a glaring weakness on this team, feel free.
But saying "it's September" in response is such a cop out answer. Like no ****, we know. We all have calendars. Every team in a America has a non-zero chance to fall apart down the stretch. It's happened to everyone. Nick Saban has had top ranked teams limp across the line with 2 or 3 losses. Oregon has looked impressive as anyone (against a trash schedule), but would anyone be truly shocked if they got hit with a few key injuries and dropped 2 or 3 games in the regular season? It's not exactly inconceivable.
A meteor could drop on Greentree. Carson Beck could decide he's done playing football and wants to study to become a mime instead. Teams could figure out that Brockermeyer gives away the play call if the DT tells him a yo mama joke, and figure out the offense. **** happens. But unless you're specifically calling out the potential issue, you're not getting credit for keeping it real by moping.
But to answer the question, I don't think we have elite positional speed at any particular position on the field (but especially WR, RB, and LB). We beat teams by being too big for people faster than us and too fast for people bigger than us. Secondary is still untested even though most of the long completions off of breakdowns aren't really on them. And I'm not sure we can survive injuries to the DLine since our DT depth is suspect (as is everyone's, to be fair) and our edges outside of Bain and Mesidor are pretty one dimensional.
