Glad to know I’m not the only one that saw that. He definitely asked an assistant “it’s 4th down right?” Maybe he was just making conversation I don’t know. I’m still riding with Richt but we gotta get this QB situation figured out.
 
I still remember Bowden late in his career goofing up who his QB was (calling Rix the QB who played baseball first) and misnaming his opponent some other team to the point he had to be corrected by the reporter. Richt isn't there yet and there's plenty of reasons with just his playcalling to give him some crap that we don't need to focus on something every coach messes up on occasion.
 
Someone call up hospice an see if Butch still remembers all his far more successful assistant coaches phone #'s.

I keep my focus on the last 4 embarrassing losses that this program and fan base have had to endure.
 
I'm far more alarmed by the apparent total lack of preparation on offense, defense and special teams - the first punt of season nearly blocked by an unblocked rusher! An Ed Orgeron LSU looked more than ready. I didn't see one single solitary area of improvement anywhere on the entire team...and we're in year three. Not ready to give up on Richt yet, but the alarm bells are screaming. We've seen this movie over and over for 16+ years now

One of his assistants turned to him to ask him if he wanted to punt because it was 4th and short. Richt, answering his assistant, said, "it's 4th down, right" as if he was saying, "of course I want to punt because it's 4th down".

I swear Canes Dynasty is the biggest ******* moron on this board. That dumbass wanted Butch Davis. Only him and FIU wanted him though there were openings all over college football. Stupid ******.

Remember that time at Washington when Butch didn't want Portis to play and Soldinger had to sneak him out onto the field so he could rip off some big runs and get the team back in the game? That was smart, wasn't it?

that was sitll butch's first go around. richt is in his 18 year plus he was an oc for bowden for 5 years
