"MR"!!!! The dude spent many years at UGA, became a stagnant second level coach, and was fired because UGA finally realized what they were dealing with. MR is not now or has he ever been our Football answer. I've been saying this since day one of his tenure, and sadly my projections of him are coming to fruition.
He is now in his third year at the U. At this point in time you would expect yearly and incremental improvements from a coach that knew what the **** he was doing, however the opposite has been the case. The reasons are very obvious. He does not know what the **** he is doing.
When you have problems with your QB's, your offensive line, your special teams, stupid continual penalties, no offensive creativity, your LB's and CB's are continually out of position, giving up big plays, pointing his finger at players mistakes, etc., etc., etc. Folks if this is not, as we refer in the business world an "Out Of Control Process", then I do not know what the **** is. Every facet of our football operations fall under his responsibilities. Guess what MR? Turn that finger 180* and you will find the true "Root Cause" of all of our problems. IT IS YOU BRO!!!
UM made a TERRIBLE mistake hiring MR as its head coach. He was done when he was fired from UGA. You could have stuck a fork in him. The knowledge was gone, so was the passion, the desire, the creativity, the drive, and all Blake James did was try to convince him that he was still a good coach, which he wasn't. Is Blake James so ******* blind???
Giving MR a couple of more years will only make things worse. Any football program starts with good recruiting, which ours was not that strong anyways, and guess what? That will be the next area being affected because other good coaches will basically tell good recruits what I've mentioned above and much more.
Let's realize we totally ****ed up AGAIN!! Let's cut our loses and not continue to prolong this misery. MR is simply not the right man to lead a program such as the U!
