MOMENTUM IS HUGE!!!

• When Your Line Gives The Quarterback Time In The Pocket:
Those WIDE pockets showed his greatness and he made spectacular plays against tight coverage! Tough kid, it's evident that he wants to win.
>You got to do a better job using your experience to make sure that the QB recognizes changes in coverage and blitz schemes (Whoever In The Press Box Is Failing) so that he can do a better job insuring that the RB's knows that they need to be the sixth man in the protection schemes. Use the QB points of view to your advantage in reviewing last minute defensive adjustments. Yearby did an excellent job at picking up the blitz. MOMENTUM!!!

• Players Make Plays, Coaches Make Decisions And Decisions Determine The Outcome Of Games:
This holds true in all phases of the game. On your play chart you must circle Coley, Richards, Yearby and Herndon as your play-makers. These four guys are killing defenses!
>These guys are winning battles for you right now offensively. Put the ball more in their hands and let’s ride. These guys are explosive, making first defenders miss tackles, beating coverage and making plays when you need them and when your not expecting much. BUILDS MOMENTUM!!!

• Game Day Speeches That Are Used To Fire Up The Team:
Must be reflected in aggressive play and aggressive play calls.
>Your most energizing play calls of the game can’t only come late in the game when you are trying to win the game. It’s imperative that you bring this aggression to start the first half of the game. Get your punches in first! MOMENTUM IS HUGE!!!

Slightly misleading thread title.

Cant we just watch some highlights of the FAMU game or something...

Yo, did you see the key blocks he made in the passing game? Showed maturity, when to release and when to stay in and pick up the blitzes.

Kaaya has plenty of arm strength IF you give him time and a good ol he won't disappoint... kaaya been getting ragged on all year but he hasn't been put in a spot to be what we had hoped in terms of playing like a #1 overall or top 5 pick. The play calling and oline play is by far the biggest problem on O. Praying he finishes the year off strong. The guy has a lot of talent we just got to get more talented players blocking for him man... good thing that he knows he needs to come back next year.I Will say if he wants to be a top flight qb he has to start to create more plays with pressure in his face. Idk but there was a lot of pressure in his face last year and he didn't get hit nearly as much and evaded a bunch of sacks

brock - Yeah. And I would like for all those who says he's gun shy; walk out into interstate traffic; drop back and throw a 40 yard pass. Do it for 60 minutes and record it so we can rate your awareness in the pocket. I bet they'll hush that mobile crap real quick. lol

He was hit more times than 13 times on passing plays and that's not including sacks...

Agree with that but it's obvious to me that Kaaya isn't comfortable in this offense which leads to hesitation and tentative play. Kaaya looked more in his element last year under Coley because of the spread type offense Coley was running. Richt comes in and installs a more pro style offense in terms of the amount of information Kaaya needs to process and the results as we have seen have been underwhelming to say the least. Square peg meet round hole!
The thing that really irks me is that Richt knew **** well the type of QB Kaaya is but he forced him into this offense anyway instead of tailoring his approach to suite his QB. I'll give Richt some time to get some more talent in but so far I have been very disappointed in his seeming ineptness as a game planner and a play caller.

Then there is the OL. This is the other thing that disturbs me. It is clear that without any legit OTs and zero athleticism that this OL doesn't have nearly what it takes to anchor a power run I form based play action type offense. Frankly there is not much these guys can do well but the type of offense Richt is running seems to be exposing their weaknesses instead of hiding them hence the reason they seem worse this year despite being healthy. Also Searels has really failed to impress to be honest. He is a weak link on this offensive staff as is the dearth of offensive minds on this staff that have any experience or even the potential to be good play callers or game planners. It's just a rusty semi retired behind the times Richt and a bunch of yes men position coaches. The bottom line is that this staff must be upgraded.

Play Calls: You can’t just have a preset list of plays that you will run to start the game. In that package you have to have kill shot plays. You have to let the defense know that you are the bully. Tyson once said, “Everybody got a plan until they get hit in the mouth”. Take the fight to the opponent early let them know that you came here to fight; and you are not looking to win this thing on a late round decision.

Result: You set the tone; you gain respect and take momentum.

Some of the greatest coaches in the history of American football are turning over in their graves right now.

Your posts are borderline schizophrenia brah. Get it together.
