Their first 3rd down when our Serial Killer DC lined up Mez on that freshman guard and he beat him instantly. Dats some coaching, scheme, and a killer on the field

I knew they were in for a long night on offense

For me it was the fact we even got points after their first TD drive and then of course eating their lunch on our last drive taking out the clock and adding points.
 
the back to back of that first 3rd down sack by our D followed by our 2nd drive felt like Rocky opening the cut on Drago's face. But it wasn't until the pick six to where I thought it was our night
 
I can't give you a moment in the game as it was a surreal blurry. But I had a calm peaceful feeling leading up to the game I don't usually have. Which surprised me and the wife. I think the response after Fletch fumble told me we are just fine. I am normally a wreck and threatening to toss the TV into the yard. But not this one. I could tell in the eyes of the players and coaches. Their manorism was all I needed to see. It was a beautiful confidence

What shocked me was Matt Patricia’s game plan and how he respected our passing game from the beginning. He never fully took on the plan of Louisville, SMU or our conference opponents to stack the line, stop the run and force Beck to beat them. He respected Beck a lot. He played us straight up and got bullied. He refused to compensate for it. Might have been ego 🤷🏾‍♂️

I hesitated telling the board this, but here goes…

I had a vision last night that we played Ohio State for the championship later this year. I’ve been gradually feeling that feeling in the pit of my gut that I haven’t felt since 2001, and then I had that vision. Don’t know if it will happen or not, but time will tell.

I definitely have not had this with the Canes since 2001 though, and I have had these “visions” come true before. 😳😣😩

I knew it all week and bet money line on Kalshi
OSU were Paper tigers baby
Played two real teams and had tough time in both
we have experienced QB who’s played well
In many big games while they had a freshman
Whose been comfy in pocket vs dog**** schedule
We have the better Oline
We have the better Dline
We have been road warriors for a month
This one was not a surprise AT ALL

Once game got to 17-14
My son said, dad are you gonna go in garage and watch 4th quarter? I looked at him and said good call……because that’s what I did on final drive of A&M game, so I did and the rest is history 😂😂😂👍👍👍
 
The first offensive drive ngl. I was never worried about the defense, i was worried about our offense looking bad and not being able to run the ball. First drive was impressive.


Also funny enough the pick 6 was when i thought we could win it but beign a falcons fan it reminded me of the pick 6 on brady in the super bowl when i was sure we would win... so i got war flashbacks from it rather than confidence lol

Becks 3rd and 11 run for a first down. That dude had his arm completely fixed to be able to throw the ball again and runs shoulder first into a defense that absolutely popped our players at any given chance.

It brought some life to a team that looked knocked out. 31 did the rest on the next defensive drive and I was convinced that we're the more physical and willing team moving forward.

That's why I wrote, W or L, the effort we're showing is the best I've seen from a football team. We got the ball back shortly after and hammered the best defense in college football into the ground.

After the pick-six, I was screaming at all the Taint fans around us that the game was over.

And it was. We just needed a bit more offensive execution. But at that point, Taint was like a headless chicken. They didn't know they were dead yet.

****, Vegas does even know. All of their lines have been way off. If the bag holders can't get it right...

I knew we were a problem the moment the committee slipped us in. After that, these dogs who were left out of last years run were poised to run it back in a big way. Like Just Pray Josh says; they shouldn't have let us in. Now were are going to be everyones' problem.
