When did you know?

2nd offensive drive. Once I knew we could move the ball I was good. Having not watched much of them I was honestly surprised at their approach on d & wondered how that could lead to only allowing 8 points per game
Exactly when I felt a little more at ease that we just might be the better team and this was gonna be a good night….

One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life was my kid pacing around the room in the second half saying over and over that he was scared and that now he finally gets what I’ve been going through as a Miami fan all these years (he’s 8).

Then when Marty got that last TD, he jumped in from of the couch, pointed at the TV, and screamed, “SUCK IT RYAN DAY!!!”

We were laughing so hard we couldn’t even get on him for his language.
You raising him right….🤣

1st series when bain and messidor met at the QB.

**** near 7 minutes on the clock and OSU has 3 timeouts

One bully MariBro ball drive from us and the victory and it’s exactly what we did

******* amazing
That brown 13 yard run on first down with 3 min left, when everyone and their mother knew we were running the ball. There were bigger plays in the game but I can’t stop talking about that one.

Thing about playoff games is it’s hard to figure out matchups from different conferences

In my head I felt like we were better on both lines than OSU but you just never know until it’s kicked off

For me when the announcers said “Watch out for Bain and Mesidor” on Ohio States first 3rd down I said to myself “let’s see what 3 and 4 got”

And they both got the sack

I legit was like

(Also yeah I was shirtless in front of the Christmas tree as well)

First two drives I knew we were the tougher team and Ohio State was in for a long night
First few drives I knew we could maul these dudes

We had a text convo where we were saying if we go play action we could probably end the game

But same time they just couldn’t stop us even selling out

That drive will go down in history for sure if we bring it home

It wasn’t for the ship, but I knew we were going to beat them, and I told y’all.

Hi everyone. Only posted a couple of times before. Related to what you just posted before the season started I was telling myself Miami was going to win the national championship. Each time I told myself that I kept hearing Ohio state. Wow! I to get an occasional vision and also audible words. They also come to pass.

Did Fletcher get hurt on that long run right before Brown came in? He never came back in after it or did I miss seeing him?

Did they maybe leave Brown in because of ball security?

The moment I saw Matt Patricia I knew we were good.

If these 2 had a baby it would be Matt patricia

Any chance that pit included the lottery numbers for tomorrow night.

I think it helped that Ohio State played right into our hands. They have a lot more explosive players on their offense than we do but their insistence on playing at a snail’s pace (they were one of the few teams that plays slower than we do) limited the number of possessions. The only time they played with any urgency was at the end of the first half when they were able to gain 67 yards in about a minute and a half and miss the field goal. In the second half, their offense came alive but they work so slowly that the entire third quarter yielded only one possession per team. The back breaker to them was their second possession in the fourth quarter. They had just scored the touchdown to make it 17-14 then forced us to punt. They proceeded to spend the next four and a half minutes of clock time gaining 6 yards. We got the ball back and only needed a couple of first downs to put the nail in the coffin.

I honestly think Georgia might be the better matchup for us in the next round. We aren’t deep on the defensive line and we see Bain and Mesidor with their hands in their hips a lot because we rely on them to play a ton. Teams that play slow allow us to maximize their time on the field. It also give us ample opportunity to substitute when opponents huddle every down. If our opponents feel comfortable only running 59 plays (that’s how many plays OSU ran against us) that means we can keep our first team pass rush guys on the field for a majority of the snaps.

First drive. Not even joking.

It was a 3 and out but we had what we wanted.
I saw what you saw but I didn't come to the same conclusion. We've had problems executing even in Wins. This game & ND in particular are runaways if we executed better. When I saw that 1st drive I though, "it's there but can we capitalize?"
