Thing about playoff games is it’s hard to figure out matchups from different conferences

In my head I felt like we were better on both lines than OSU but you just never know until it’s kicked off

For me when the announcers said “Watch out for Bain and Mesidor” on Ohio States first 3rd down I said to myself “let’s see what 3 and 4 got”

And they both got the sack

I legit was like

(Also yeah I was shirtless in front of the Christmas tree as well)

First two drives I knew we were the tougher team and Ohio State was in for a long night

2nd offensive drive. Once I knew we could move the ball I was good. Having not watched much of them I was honestly surprised at their approach on d & wondered how that could lead to only allowing 8 points per game
Yeah same. I watched OSU quite a bit and thought we could hang with them

But we were bullying them I was kinda shocked honestly

In person, once Scott scored we knew we had it. But when we didn’t get a field goal before the end of the first half I knew we were not going to cruise. Once OSU scored the second TD they had all the momentum. The totally shook OSU fans finally came back to life. It was time to lace the boots up. And my goodness did they ever!

It was an amazing scene watching OSU fans leave before Brown scored. They knew they were beat and they were scurrying out as quickly as possible. Bunch of arrogant pussies..

Well said

The fumbling was killing my blood pressure because it genuinely felt like if the game was clean and we just lined up hat to hat we would win

OSU had their run but we were the better team 80% of the night

We still have an issue getting points when at least 3 are in the bag but at this point it’s just who we are

I knew all week. I had a feeling I’ve never had before. But during the game I knew when Keionte Scott ran out of the tunnel.

And certainty hit when OSU received the ball only down by 3. That feeling came again and I relaxed, and they made play after play to end it, on defense and offense. Wesley Bissainthe’s sack was crazy he destroyed Bo Jackson in route to Sayin. And then seeing Lightfoot’s hair catch on fire was amazing!

It wasn’t for the ship, but I knew we were going to beat them, and I told y’all.

Even with the fumble I was very surprised how easy we moved the ball. The ability to control clock and limit possessions was impressive.

Even on that very first drive if Carson doesn’t miss fletchers he’s free for 20+.

Rewatch this game without logos on the helmet and the clear winner and domination was the storm troopers.
And it could’ve been worse.

J Smith and few miscues prevented a blowout.

I was stoked after Scott’s pick 6.

I got nervous after OSU drove from the 1 late in the first half (and missed a FG), and then scored back-to-back TDs. OSU is good and JJ could take over the game. Then converted a 3rd-18.

The Canes got off the ropes and punched OSU in the mouth. That sack told me Miami had the game.

I told myself all they need is a TD drive and a pick to ice the game. :)

I had a good feeling after OSU's first 3 & out. I figured Day would have their best plays scripted and it was their best chance of getting points.

Side note:
Before the game, I went to YouTube & played the Al Blades speech on my tv... LOUD. My wife & 11 year old girl scolded me & left the room. Vetran move

During our second offensive drive. It was clear we could run on them between the tackles, and that our defensive line couldn't be blocked rushhing Sayin. Recipe for success in the playoffs as long as you don't turn the ball over, or at worst turn it over less and/or with less consequence than the other team (which we did).
