When did Golden "lose you?"

Now, don't try and be the cool guy and say, the Maryland game in 2011, or after his first press conference. For me, it was somewhere around the Wake Forest game last year, though the nail in the coffin was the Va Tech game. I stopped defending him after the Kansas State game in 2012, though I didn't start attacking him until the next season.

Just to play off of that, I got to thinking, and I stopped supporting Coker after the UNC and Clemson losses in 2004, though I didn't start ripping him publicly until the GT loss in 2005. I did have reservations about him going back to 2002, because I remember thinking, with all of this talent, we sure did play down to a lot of our opponents that year (WVU, Rutgers, even FSU). With Shannon, I stopped supporting/defending him after the GT game in 2008, though I didn't start ripping him until the next year. Some after the Clemson game, mostly after the UNC game, and all broke loose after the Wisconsin debacle.

Donofrio = Game 1, Maryland 2011

Golden = Notre Dame 2012

I've played football at all 3 levels. Have coached a ton. I will honestly say I had my doubts during the million WR screens UMD threw and we did nothing to stop it.

Prior to AGs arrival I heard good things about him from a friend who lived on the outskirts of Philly. I was pretty optimistic. I thought almost anyone would be an upgrade over the last two.

But after the last 3 years of watching the most **** poor defense by UM football, the atrocious Bowl game showing and the atrocious start to 2014 things have been pretty clear in my mind.

I'm ready for a change.

Off topic but I may aswell mention to see if anyone else sees the same thing:

From Coker (2005) - AG why has our OL performed very similar? Why do we consistently get zero push?

Why does our team lack fire and enthusiasm?

Why does our team constantly look like HS seniors, physically?

Why do our players seem to get stiffer as the years go on?

I think the entire staff needs to be released except Ice and Hurlie.

We desperately need a S&C coach.

Wouldn't mind if Shalala retired soon also.

The administration lost me when they abandoned the Orange Bowl and signed a long term lease in the current dump. At that point you've verified you have no clue what you are doing. Every subsequent decision of any magnitude is likely to be poor. Big picture dominates. If not Al Golden it would have been someone of equal caliber, perhaps worse. The details might have altered slightly. The bottom line would not. At least we have a classy guy at the helm.

Besides, I've won quite a few bets against him. Hard for me to dislike someone whose team follows the logical patterns. When Miami is in a terrible emotional situation, like the Virginia Tech game last season, one game after a phony 7-0 start, the Canes properly fall flat. When he's facing a FAR game like last night he fails to cover the first half, although I had to sweat.

That Virginia game at home was really bad. 2012 I believe.

I knew things weren't right when we got blown out by KSU/ND. It's one thing to lose, but getting dominated is unnacceptable.

Hasn't yet, but very soon. A nebraska loss would probably seal it, or anything under 9 games this year.

He lost me last night. I reall expected a different team this year but i got the same team as last year and the year before. I don't understand the rotation of guys. I don't understand the defense. I don't understand the schemes all around. I don't understand the lack of swag, lack of fundamentals, and lack of improvement.

Last night...I'm a pretty optimistic person, especially when it comes to the canes but this **** has started getting repetitive...coley was playing madden like a 10 year old and we had ALLLLLLLLL summer to game plan. It's despicable. I don't even have fun watching my favorite team anymore...pure agony now a days smh

The Vtech game last year was the start. Coastal right for the taking and we slugged it out with a ****** Vtech team. That game was painful to watch. Last year was my first as a season tix holder. Was feeling sky high after the UF win all the way through to FSU. Then things went downhill and it was a chore to go to games afterwards.

I chose not to go to the bowl game even though I live near downtown and that turned out to be a great idea. But PSU gate was really when I jumped off the bandwagon. That bowl game was still fresh in our minds and it also jeopardized our recruiting class. All the goodwill built up by getting us through the clouds is gone.

They really had no choice. The City wouldn't do what it needed to do to fix the place up. They wanted to rely on grants and tax credits to fund it but hadn't done anything to secure those things. And they wouldn't consider selling it to the University because they knew the Marlins would be out of their lease at Dolphin Stadium and looking to build a stadium. The City wanted the Marlins at that site (81 >>> 6). The City abandoned the University...the University absolutely did not abandon the OB.

And negged for betting against the Canes.

Definitely last game! The continuous 3 or 4 man rushes, and the 6 straight runs to start the 2nd half was my breaking point! Car salesman/Politician
