Imagine what a coach like Brohm could do with Miami talent. Not saying we hire the guy at some point but man it's annoying watching out coaches get out schemed by teams with less talent every year. Mario is not an Xs & Os kinda guy. Dude is a caveman (Homo Cubano) wish we had a HC that could scheme tf out of mediocre ACC foes. Seems we are at a disadvantage every year at HC. I know some of you will get on here and say we'll be fine but I do not share the same optimism. We need someone who can out scheme opponents running the show. Hopefully the next guy is that (whenever that is)

You don’t like running it up the middle for 3 downs to gain 6 yards a series?
 
The "imagine" scenario never plays out. People said that about Justin Fuente. James Franklin. "Imagine what they could do....". But they didn't do it.

I need a copy of full game but I was livid with game strategy to end the half.. BOTH teams have all three timeouts, Toney unlike Bell who houses his breakaway play is hawked down with 4 minutes to go. Its officially "The middle 8 minutes" and we can STEAL an extra possession before half by forcing UL hand.. Instead we milk the clock down to two minutes on our side before we settle for fg.. (that tackle was a 4 point play and we lost by 3).. They have ALL 3 TIMEOUTS, why are we milking the clock?! They will not run out of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You save that 2 minute TO and thats 4 timeouts for us if we hurry up!!!!!!!!!!! We dont have aggressive mindset AT ALL.. Huddle up down multiple scores in 4th qtr, just bad all around.

I guess my question is...just how large of a talent gap is there really? I would argue not large at all from what my eyes saw last night. With how much parity there is in college football today given the NIL and portal, the teams that are led by cerebral coaches will have a distinct advantage. That was on full display last night. Louisville better extend Brohm forever. And please let's never give that staff an additional week to prepare for us.

I'm convinced that Mario should see a sports psychologist.

The GT game did something to his psyche. He completely malfunctions in high pressure situations where clock mgmt is key.

It's very Lebron-esque vs The Mavs.

Man you completely hit in on the nail.

It’s exactly how Bron was against the Mavs.. dude Shrunk in big moments and just completely let the moment make him forget who he was.

Bron eventually figured it out.. don’t see that ever happening with Mario unfortunately
