Nebraska is 0-2 for the first time since 1957 ! Rough start for new coach Scott Frost

They have one scholarship qb and was left a mess by the previous staff.

It’s still early but I read a great piece last year about how difficult it is at Nebraska these days. It’s tough to get kids to go play there now with all the TV exposure and additional teams etc. throw in the fact that they haven’t been truly relevant in years and they said the program just isn’t what it used to be. They have money and tons of support, but kids don’t prioritize that like they used to.

Injuries happen to everyone, so it's not an excuse, but they're 2-0 if Adrian Martinez stays healthy.

Miami
Nebraska
Texas
USC
Michigan
Washington

All programs that haven’t seen the top in a while. It’s be nice to see these squads come back and truly be “back”

Adrian Martinez was injured last week & didn't play today.

They literally only have 1 QB on scholarship & they had to play a Walk-on Juco QB today.

Plus they have absolutely no Defense from the previous staff. Frost will have that thing up & running by year 3.

Tom Herman-itis. Fanbase thinking and national media portraying a young "genius" coach as having magic dust that'll work instantly on a big stage like Texas or Nebraska.

The jury is certainly beyond still out on Frost but Herman's seat could warm up pretty quickly.

Changing a programs culture is not easy. I still feel like Miamis culture hasn't changed completely but we are getting there one game at a time.

Their recruiting classes actually haven't been that bad in recent years. They average around #25 in the recruiting rankings the past couple years.

after the charlie strong experiment at Texas, their fans have ZERO patience... Herman has to get the Horns going real quick.
