Whats type of Coach is more important to you?

To be honest I don't know of anybody that would take the media savvy head coach. That would seem moronic to me, especially considering the sport we're talking about.

I want an ***** that wins.

I want Butch like most people, but if we can't get him then Leach and Herman are looking the best to me.

And don't complain about Leach that guy is exactly an a-hole who wins and he does it with the children of the poor.
I love Herman's intensity my only complaint is he doesn't have a big body of work as a head coach. He looks the part, but I wish there was more on him than just half a year as coach at Houston.

Agree with all of that.

Leach would be great at UM. His attitude is Win or ***** Off! No Mediocrity!

I 'd take the biggest ******* of them all as long as he has us winning 11-12 games and in the hunt each year.

Just want to win

JC

All that matters is winning. I don't give a flying **** what kind of personality he has.

I care not for the coaches attitude. I want one who brings a top class experienced staff from the Coordinators to the video guy

Leach is an A-hole but did I miss his wins? Is that why all the big schools have lined up to hire the guy in his 15 years of being a gimmick?

1. Mike Leach was the HC at TT from 2000-2009, with an overall record of 84-43. That sounds great until you go and look at who most of those 84 wins were against - bottom feeders.

2. Mike Leach coached 41 games against ranked teams. TT went 11-30 in those games.

3. In the games against ranked opponents, TT scored a whopping 26.2 points per game. They allowed 36.2 points per game.

4. His best season was 2008, but his record against ranked opponents that year: 3-2.

Of his 84 career wins at Texas Tech, only 26 game against winning teams. So he had 58 wins against teams that finished that season with a 500 or worse record. 8 of those 58 wins came against 1aa opponents. So, his record against Div 1A teams was 76-43. Of the 76 wins he had against Div 1A teams, 19 (YES 19) came against teams that finished that season at least 5 games under .500.

Mike Leach is a myth. Only fools like him.
