I’ll gladly secure LT’s commitment over the hated Gayturds. If it’s Maason too give me that all day over Savion. It’s unfortunate but the part of recruiting that makes it a business. I’m sure Collins won’t cry spilt milk over it.

Is there anything new with him? It seems like for months people have been saying he's feeling UF. But he hasn't committed there, or decommitted from us yet right?

The HATE for Collins needs to stop. Kid been committed for over a year. Taylor maybe better, but why run Collins off when Taylor may very well choose to be a gate. We ain't in no position to drop DT commits who have solid potential.

Hate is a strong word to use here. Has the board acted as it normally does when our coaches seemingly cool on one of our commits? Yes. But nobody spewing hatred..

I feel bad for the kid, he's steadily been watching his stock fall and his teammates have been getting love from the school he's "committed" to. Now whether or not he planned on staying committed to Miami is another conversation, because at the same time all of his other top options seem to feel the same as our staff does. That's a tough situation to find yourself in, highly ranked by most of the services but not the coaching staffs at top tier programs. I can't imagine having friends, family and fans constantly asking you if you're going to UM, FSU, UF, LSU, UGA when in reality he doesn't have committable offers from any of the places folks who don't follow recruiting assume he does

Hope he finds a spot in a good situation and makes the most of it, but the way things have been going it seems that won't be Coral Gables

Easy buddy. There is no hate...

It’s been obvious that Collins had been poking around and really thinking of the gaytors and LSU... unfortunately for him seems he’s a take for neither of them at the current time.. hence his “commitment” to us.

having said that it seems like he’s fallen on our board. It is what it is... the kids say it all the time it’s a business decision and sounds like the coaching staff is making the best ones for themselves as well

Collins has fallen to plan B status. His best offer so far was Miami but they've clearly cooled on him. He may de-commit if he gets another offer from a big time school but that's not happening unless that school has to revert to plan B also. It's still a possibility he ends up at UF, especially if Taylor ends up signing here. Unfortunately, that's the way recruiting goes. Kids use schools as placeholders until a better option comes around, schools do the same thing with kids.

He's glowing with portal all over him , reality of what he had done is closing fast , I think he's mentally a D-II kid at best and he's finding it out now.

There is no hate towards him. He is not a take for uf or miami right now and is not as good as his rankings the excuse he hasn't been playing football long is null he lacks effort and if u go length of playing experience allan haye has less and has way better film. Kid can have all the tools but he doesnt try. And he isn't even really committed if were being honest

Then prospects don't like when the school says it's a business decision lol....stop throwing that word around cause it might bite u in the *** later and u aren't going to like it

he wants to go to UF but UF wont allow him to commit there. hence why hes still committed to miami but miami hasn't spoken to him or kept up with him. hes essentially not committed to us

I thought a few years ago Savion was a mega prospect.....wtf happened?
Peaked like Burns (injuries aside). Work ethic and motor has been questioned. Still a good prospect, but nothing worthy of his current and past ranking and trajectory.

So he's basically that IMG kid that went to fsu.....Manuel or some **** like that

Allegedly. He’s not a take for the elites who offered early. Miami has cooled on him because of his flirting with the gates and the LT momentum. Whoever whiffs on LT will probably take him then. But yea Shavar Manuel other than his grades issues is a good comparison.
