Whatever happened to Darrell Langham?

[caneULM]

Guy just disappeared midway through the 2018 season. I know he didn't have much of a career at Miami but those two catches in '17 has put him in folk hero status IMO.

“DARRELL LANGHAM WITH THE GRAB!!”

[Genghis Cane]

The FSU catch was awesome. The GT one was luck, if we’re being real.

[Cane30]

He played all season in 18, but didn't do much. Darrell was a laid back person. After he entered the draft and wasn't picked up, he probably faded into normal everyday life. I am sure someone here knows. Hopefully, he is doing well. He will never be forgotten for ending that miserable FSU 7 game winning streak over Miami.

Series was 31 to 30; FSU winning 8 in a row would’ve tied it. Instead, it started a four game winning streak.

37 to 33 right now; ‘Canes on a two game winning streak.

Quiet career but dammit he made two huge grabs for us when we needed it.

[skillydoo]

His catch was the one that hooked my youngest kid. He doesn't watch ANY sports. Except Canes football..

[JHallCanes]

Clearly the FSU catch was legendary but remember the 4th down catch he made the very next week against GT was right up there

[PimpCane]

Legend

[BoxingRobes]

Hope he never has to pay for another meal.

Doesn't he paint pictures now? I know one of our former wrs dove into the artistic career.

[TheU1984]

Didn’t he make a great grab against Syracuse too? Not as big as the other two but the guy came up clutch that season!

That’s D’Mauri Jones (sp) I believe.

Thanks. That sounds right.

It was lucky in terms of where the tipped ball went because that is always a crapshoot
But him keeping his eyes on the ball was awesome. He concentrated all the way through that play.

[CANEMC]

He's still up in Trailerhassee handing out *** whoopins.

[grover]

Legendary plays and a team first type of kid. I really hope he’s doing well.

That one was pure luck

Makes me think we should have a thread of one (or two) hit wonders for the Canes. Guys like Langham and Flagg who gave us "what a play" plays, in largely forgettable careers. Who else would be on that list?
