on Al Golden? Given that we are stuck with the Pop Warner Head Coach for next year.

For me anything less than a National Championship game next year, I want him gone. I'd probably still want him gone because I just don't like him or trust him. I think he's a snake oil salesman. The allure quickly rubbed off from the initial introduction 4 years ago.

10 regular season wins, an ACC championship. If we get screwed out of a playoff spot because of how trash the conference is, I can handle that.

so 11 wins minimum going into a new years eve/day bowl or gtfo
 
The time for these discussions has come and gone imo. There's no hope. Not one iota.
 
A convincing ACC title. Not a title where we back into it. At least 10 wins. And 2 big time game wins. Oh and humiliate FSU.
 
Flip Ridely and SBB, keep Scarlet, add Cronkrite back (not necessary if we get Scarlet), and sign 2 stud DTs (at least 1 from a JUCO who could play immediately), and flip Devante. And land all the guys who are visiting tomorrow but aren't committed yet. That would go a long way for me.

Then in February, I would need to see changes on the D (coaches; philosophy; personnel; etc). I would need to read articles about him hiring consultants (ex NFL guys) to analyze the entire year and decisions made and everything within the program. I'd want the AD to commit up to $500,000 to consulting fees for this effort. For good measure, I'd need Golden to pay at least $100,000 of the consultant fee to show his employer he is fully invested in taking UM football where it needs to be.

Make this thing better. Now. Period. End of story.

That would go a long way for me.

Nothing more needs to be seen to change my mind about Golden. We all know he will never win anything in Miami, he's completely unqualified to be a Power 5 Conference football coach. He will not win 10 games next year, or 8 games, and likely will not win 6 games. His fate is sealed, sooner or later he is gone. This will be apparent when 15K show up next season for Nebraska and VT.
 
10 wins at the very least, fsu being one of them, winning the coastal, and winning a bowl game against a good coach. and then id still hate him.

But itd be the good kind of hate.

If Al took his excuse-making to the next level and then, after that, took it to a level higher still, then that would go a long way with me. Might just keep him around for the entertainment value at that point.

Keep scarlett, land green and fire fatfrio, williams and jethro after nsd. Bring back schiano and or hire Michael barrow as the D coordinator and mike rumph as db coach. Kevin Patrick as dline coach and win the acc.... Be in the playoff...
 
fire franklin and williams. Only lose 2 games at the most and win ACC. its not happening so it dont matter.
