What were your best moments watching the Canes with your father (or as a father)?

Not 'Canes related, but South Florida related.

The past four seasons with the Panthers with my son has been truly a gift. There's been some 'Cane games in there, don't get me wrong. But first games, first playoff games, first Stanley Cup games, first championship, watching the boys raise The Cup, going to the parade, touching The Cup, Elbo Room. my son meeting the lads on the team, and now we get to do it again.

Those will forever be the best moments. Hopefully the 'Canes make those similar memories soon...but for us, its the Rats.

Unfortunately my father wasn't into sports and was sick a lot of my childhood. Thank god I had a brother who was a major sports junkie and also happen to go to the U. He had me around sports all the time wether playing or going to games. Because of him we've been season ticket holders for The U and the Dolphins for 43 years. Season ticket holder for Marlins during both Championships and went to a ton of Heat games. He basically took over as my father figure.

Best moments with him.

The 85 bears game when Marino went off and we won.

84 game against Nebraska.

Watching Roger Clemons throw a fastball to Miguel Cabrera and Miggy smashing over the wall right in front of us as we went on to spank the Yanks!!

Big Sombrero for my very first Canes game in 1974.

Univ. of Tampa missed a last-second field goal and Canes escaped with a two-point win.

Trash-talked my UF brother and my FSU brother all the way back home to Daytona (for beating Tampa, lol)

Only time I ever saw UM play in person with my dad

My dad is the reason I am a Canes fan. He took me to my first game in 2002 vs FAMU.

But the greatest moment had to be against FSU in 2002. He wanted to go to circuit city to buy a new TV. The game was on at the time and a bunch of us in the store crowded around one TV to watch the game. When Willis Mcgahee caught the screen pass the whole store went crazy. And when FSU missed the final field goal me and my Dad embraced. It was the best moment.

My dad passed in 2012 but Im thankful for all the games we did get to watch together. I really enjoy being a Canes fan because of him. RIP pops!

First and only game I’ve ever been to with my dad. Admittedly we watched the final two minutes from the tunnel because we were both SCORCHED by the sun.

Watching Cam Ward throw over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns
