Well let’s not get too carried away. He did say, “All due respect, I love how you play, but don’t get used to this ****”. I mean that sounds on brand for ole Fran. . I didn’t take it as him disrespecting Irvin. In fact, I think he purposely did it because he knew Irvin was live on YouTube.

That said, someone clearly didn’t tell him we don’t play them again anytime soon so all of that rah rah talk was all for nothing.

Irvin's response, "I appreciate the intensity", I think shows that this isn't two guys having fun and talking smack. That's a de-escalating response.

I don't know if he feels he has to be different and loud because Syracuse wouldn't get attention otherwise, and I would agree with that approach to some extent. Or if he's genuinely unstable.
