What was the heated exchange between Cristobal and Brown?

It happened when Mario took a 5 yard penalty for an illegal shift or formation when Syracuse was punting and rather than add 5 yards to the end of the play, Mario wanted Syracuse to punt again (because he likely wanted Toney to get another shot). It was a good decision but both punts were fair caught anyway, so it ended up being a bad result (I think we only netted 3 yards out of it).

As an aside, it seems like the kids like Fran and play for him, but he is over the top. It screams a little immaturity. He should dial it back a little.

Fran is a clown. Instead of coaching he lost it on the officials for nearly 10 minutes. Trader was nearly tackled to the ground coming out of his break and they called PI. It was as obvious as when Trader was tackled in the end zone against SMU. But surprisingly we actually got a call. So Fran proceeds to go nuts for like 10 minutes. He looked like a buffoon out there. He screams of road rage out there. Then he gets into it with Mario for like 5 minutes. The whole time I am thinking, does this guy remember he is the head coach and maybe concentrate on that? He won’t last long there. He is a clown. Playing fake tough guy doesn’t win you games as a coach.

We got called for blocking out of bounds on the re-kick too so we actually lost 12 yards on it iirc

Then he made the comments about “schools and coaches” coming after his WR Pena in the spring. It was obvious he was talking Miami but in truth it was PSU and Franklin who was tampering.

The comments Brown also made and were reported on the broadcast before the 3rd Quarter about how Brown told his team that they “had them on ropes and they (Miami) were about to quit” more than likely was heard by someone in the booth or reported to someone in the booth and then made their way to Mario.

If I had to guess it probably started way before then over some recruit/portal player when Brown was hired at Georgia to replace Addae who of course left Georgia to come to Miami in 2022.

This is long brewing. Appreciate Mario rubbing it in with a couple late gadget plays.

Fran's 15 minutes are about up, guy is a massive douche and a highly overrated coach who will be fired in a few years. It was hilarious that he started yelling "good game" about 30 yards away from Mario on the way to shaking hands so Mario would be nice to him. It was like a dog rolling on its back for a bigger dog.....such a ***** move after instigating earlier in the game.

Little does he know, Mario is also a huge *****.

The clip was from the first half, and I think right after the PI overturned the INT. Brown went off like an addict who thought someone stole his stash. Mario was lit on cafecito and all **** nearly broke loose!

Well, not really.

Mario had the last laugh. Mario ran up the score, and loved the throwback to CiCi.

The postgame handshake was disappointing. I was hoping for 'choice words', maybe an 'extended handshake' stare down someone has to break up and some viral ESPN clip.
