What the banner Flyers dont consider

They should fly one everyday over his house and circle the campus at least twice a day.

See how the season plays out? Are you kidding me? (Al's voice) We have quite the sample size already. 4 yrs worth. Scrap the first yr, still got 3. Just lost to Cincinnati, what exactly haven't we figured out about Al at this point? He waiting for a certain time to unleash his coaching brilliance? This may explain the cincy pregame, "DON'T " rise to the occasion speech. Well, he should have unleashed his brilliance sooner, fly the banner, order the pizzas, make him miserable. You're crazy. The banners are now the high point of each game. And they have worked. The BOT was going to keep this smuck next year too.

The funny thing about this is that while yes, it has gotten the attention of the media, nearly every single talking head who has voiced an opinion on the matter has lambasted UM fans for being "spoiled" or "classless" or the like. They've laughed at you guys for flying the banners while we were undefeated. They've mocked our poor fan support for years, and this is just another sign of that (eg, can't fill the stands, but will fly a banner). They've poked fun at the fact that you guys even go so far as to stack an online poll to make yourselves feel better about what you're doing.

The banner flyers are too dumb to notice that.

Fact is that the banners have zero effect on getting Golden out of here. You flew a banner last year, and still the BOT retained Golden. It was clear from the outset that this year was the deciding year. Ws and Ls are what make the decision, and Golden's going to hang himself by losing ****** games like Cinci as well as another 3-4 games this season, at the very least. The banners aren't going to get him fired any sooner.

Actions need consequences. What is the BOTs or administrations motivation to hire a good coach if nothing happens when we lose? None. If the fans don't make a stink about it, they can glide along with their clean cut coach who goes 7-5 every year. And they would probably happily do so.

That must not be tolerated. It must not be allowed. They decided to accept mediocrity and keep this coach despite the fact that he had already proven to be completely incompetent. There needs to be a consequence for that. They need to feel the heat for their decision. They need to feel embarrassed for themselves, for the school. Things need to get as ugly as possible so they say, "We cannot have this happen again." The uglier, the better in that regard. The more embarrassing, the better.
 
Wins and losses is what will determine if Golden stays.
if he wins the Costal and wins the bowl game he is staying. you can fly all the banners you want but he is staying.
if he loses this Saturday and cant get us to the Costal then bye, bye!!!

banners wont change these things. the only thing banners do is allow the two year olds to voice their displeasure and have their temper tantrums..........
and add to the erosion of quality recruits.

imo, i would wait till November/December to fly the banners.
those flying/funding the banners want Golden gone even if we win the NC (so that tells you the mind set of these individuals)

lol I don't know if the banners are "working" or not, but what I do know is that it annoys and bothers the people who are responsible for the current predicament of um football. The BOT/Blake/President Frenk are not going to factor them in to their decision making process. But considering how many people are lashing out every week whether it be players or coaches it's clear that the "noise" is bothering them. I'm just glad there is something making Blake/Al embarassed or angry every week. They don't seem to care about losses so they had to create something else
