If we say that we should not lose to teams like Virginia and BC, are we suggesting that if UM loss it should be only to one of the top teams in the country? Wouldn’t that make us Bama?

After 15 years of mediocre coaching and recruiting, are we suggesting that we should beat every team that is not in the top 10. That would mean UM would Be undefeated and in the Playoffs every year.

Is it realistic of us to expect that level of play after 15 years of losing so soon? Is 2.5 seasons to early to expect dominance in conference play? Because that would mean we are the Bama’s of the world

This is exhausting...
Just trying to help people calm their nerves. It is perfectly ok to not accept losing any games or holding coaches accountable. Especially the offense

To lose reality on the other hand is bringing on undo stress. To only lose to team we consider top teams means we are expecting a level of play that in on the level of Clemson and Bama.

When I was coming up through here, it was and is never acceptable to lose as a Cane.. Shameful. God how I miss the Orange Bowl!

It is never acceptable for us to lose to UVA and BC ever...no matter what. The talent gap is just too great.
Right, this is the point. Even great teams sometimes lose games, so it's not isolating one game on a 'who is it ok to lose to'-analysis. The point is Miami's roster is so much more talented than a team like UVA, we should rarely ever lose to them; much less go out and look like sh-t and be dominated by them. That's the issue/glaring problem.

I don't know if you notice but we're in the ACC coastal. To lose to the bottom feeders in a trash conference is pathetic. Your name is fitting for this porst.

It’s not acceptable to lose to ANYONE at this U! If we are in games and have a pulse it’s easier to stomach when we lose to a great team but loosing streaks and getting pushed off the field by teams like BC is not accepted nor should it be. Winners win and losers lose, if you think it’s acceptable to lose to anyone you have a losers mentality and that’s the type of mentality that got our program to this level.

There was a time the program was on the verge of disbanding. A new standard was set, Howard said he would win a National Championship and he did. From that point a NC was the standard. Somewhere along the way, the thought shifted to winning our conference, to now winning our division of the conference. The team in general followed the mentality of the top down that was soft and more concerned about themselves, not upholding a legacy. Makes me sick every time I think of Donna taking the check from the ponzi midget. However, football to her was about a revenue stream, not winning, thus the strange bedfellows. I understand there is an economics to football, but don't kill the cash cow as she and her puppet AD came close to doing.

Until we have a coach, and AD that sets a standard that the mission of the team is winning, and winning a NC, not just a division, or conference, we will continue to lose to BC, UVA, GT, Duke...

The program has gotten fat and happy off ACC money, but that seems to be okay for the ACC, so I don't see a change as long as we do good enough. Hope I am wrong.

If we would have lost playing Perry or Jarren and we opened up the playbook and went down swinging it’d be a lot easier to swallow, although still unacceptable based on talent levels.

The way Richt is sabotaging this offense is the real killer

Toilet Water is more than appropriate for this Porst...
This question is basically the same as asking us when it's ok for us to drink toilet water. ****** never. Golden gave himself a swirlie constantly, while Richt is scooping water out with a glass and claiming it's pretty much the same as tap water. Except we all know Jon Richt had just taken a **** in that toilet.

I don’t think we are on that level yet to pencil in wins at the moment. I am concerned about the offense however. I feel like we should be able to move the ball more frequently. It seems like we either get chunk plays for huge yards or completely stagnant.

I agree. I miss those days of kicking ***. But I do get it from an emotional stand point that everyone is worried because we seem to always been let down.

That is my fear also

So are you saying that you expect some losses and you just don’t like the way that we are losing these games. If so I can get how someone could accept certain losses vs others

Question for you. If our great teams of the past played in hard rock stadium would they have had the same record there as achieved in the orange bowl?
