People aren’t realizing that what Mario wants to do isn’t the problem. Plenty of teams do what he wants to do and scores 30-40-50 points a game. Gattis is the problem. Not sure if you're being sarcastic but I agree. But, with tempo. Not tempo for the sake of tempo, but an actual rhyme and reason behind running and setting up plays. Lashlee was really good at this but I hated his offense long term.
I don't have a problem with what Mario WANTS to do. The question is can he or does he know how to?
I agree with this to a certain extend I think Mario does want to play ball control and eat up the clock..Gattis is terrible he doesn’t have a game plan, we don’t attack the other team weaknesses, he doesn’t create mismatches, he doesn’t set up eye candy or plays to set up other plays later…literally just calls routes and expects someone to get openPeople aren’t realizing that what Mario wants to do isn’t the problem. Will never happen, but watching Jacurri I wouldn't mind giving the Vince Young offense a try.
Dumb down the passing game.
Let every other play be a designed run or dump off to the check down. We got guys who can play the Jamal Charles role out of the backfield in Rooster and Parrish.
Can't be worse.
Dayall Harris screen pass to oblivionLOL. Remember that drive against GT where Richt ran like WR screen after screen after screen? Yeah, that one.
Imagine ANY D licking their chops facing an even dumber O than we currently play. Ouch. How can you further dumb down an already labotomized offense?
I'd much rather lose games 40-37 than 20-13. There's nothing worse than losing and being boring af. There's nothing exciting about watching the canes play anymore.
Every team worth a **** in college football runs a spread that is up tempo and gets athletes balls in space. Then, you run off that advantage. We look like a team from 2010. Boring af.
We can do that once we get an established offensive line and good rbsPower spread with an established run game.
