What system/style should we run on O?

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but I agree. But, with tempo. Not tempo for the sake of tempo, but an actual rhyme and reason behind running and setting up plays. Lashlee was really good at this but I hated his offense long term.

I don't have a problem with what Mario WANTS to do. The question is can he or does he know how to?
People aren’t realizing that what Mario wants to do isn’t the problem. Plenty of teams do what he wants to do and scores 30-40-50 points a game. Gattis is the problem.

I'd much rather lose games 40-37 than 20-13. There's nothing worse than losing and being boring af. There's nothing exciting about watching the canes play anymore.

Every team worth a **** in college football runs a spread that is up tempo and gets athletes balls in space. Then, you run off that advantage. We look like a team from 2010. Boring af.

I agree with this to a certain extend I think Mario does want to play ball control and eat up the clock..Gattis is terrible he doesn’t have a game plan, we don’t attack the other team weaknesses, he doesn’t create mismatches, he doesn’t set up eye candy or plays to set up other plays later…literally just calls routes and expects someone to get open

Will never happen, but watching Jacurri I wouldn't mind giving the Vince Young offense a try.

Dumb down the passing game.

Let every other play be a designed run or dump off to the check down. We got guys who can play the Jamal Charles role out of the backfield in Rooster and Parrish.

Can't be worse.

Sources inside the Hecht tell me that Mario is experimenting with a QB-less offense next season and that he's looking to bring in Mike Vrabel to run it. There's some push back by Johnny Bro Ruiz in that he'd prefer to bring in a Miami guy to take the job as that's what it takes to succeed down here, but Mario is really big on the idea of having an ex NFL LB be our OC because today's offensive guys "don't know what they're talking about".

Sources are also saying that Johnny Bro is warming to this idea and exploring ways to sign Derrick Henry to an NIL deal and be the starting RB next season.

Imagine a air raid offense with mario recruiting ability!! Scary but will never happen 😢

13 is VERY generous

It's too bad the flying wedge was outlawed years ago. Gattis and Mario would have loved that.
