I know we are scarce on insider information but should we be expecting a staff overhaul or not?

I mean we have to do something to fix our woeful offense right?

The worst thing the team could've done was win the last two games IMO

Naw for recruiting sake we have to finish 8-5. The way the offense performed vs pitt further lamenated how woeful our offense has been. N’Kosi was 6-24 less than 60 yards... it definitely wasn’t all on him but the sh*t can’t be ignored anymore.

I don’t expect Searels back.

As for the offense, Richt knows they need changed and is telling people that. The question is what he does. I don’t think any decision has been made on that front.
what people dont realize is goldne wasnt hired to win. he was hired to be here during the ncaa storm. richt got 4 million, his son and wife on payroll,
an ipf, other upgrades, and more money for assistants.

All jokes and anger aside...I've got to think Richt is smart enough to know at bare minimum two things need to be done.

OL Coach
OC/QBC that is an actual playcaller

My heart and best intentions tell me he makes those moves...the facts and the evidence? well, I guess we'll see.

It shouldn't of been ignored in the offseason. The coaches and many of the fans were blinded after a fluke 10 win season. Richt's offense barely put up 3 points against the top team in the ACC and they still refused to make any changes. If Blake doesn't force Richt to make changes, they both should be fired. This was nothing short of an embarrassing year for this program. If Richt hires more "yes men" for the offensive staff, he should be fired. The school should pick out a handful of OCs that Richt has to pick from. Richt shouldn't have autonomy in deciding the OC. He has not shown the capability of hiring high-level coaches.

Offense has issues - CMR knows that. I am confident the right decisions will be made with a calm head as all decisions should always be made. However we need to understand the limitations we had this year at QB.

I just can't see Richt coming off his pro style offense. Its all he knows. Barry Jackson of all people seems to have snapped over Richt's refusal to commit to a spread. This is what he wrote:

"ESPN sideline reporter Roddy Jones, the former Georgia Tech receiver, said he believes UM’s offensive players simply haven’t bought into Richt’s preferred offense.

But Richt refused to answer when I asked him recently about whether he would consider going to a spread offense permanently. And Richt’s normal day-after- game-conference call won’t be held this week, so there won’t another opportunity to ask big picture state-of-the-program questions anytime soon.

But it was telling that Richt played this offense as his primary scheme only because he had no other choice in the wake of injuries to all his tight ends.

And it’s also telling that before Bryant canceled his visit, he suggested UM will stick its current offense.

“He just tells me [about their] philosophy, pro-style but mixing with the spread and [run-pass option],” Bryant said."

Richt isn't making a change unless forced to do so. Plain and simple. Will there be changes? Depends on whether or not the AD & bots can grow 1 set of balls (combined) & force him to.
