I have no idea if Shahid Kahn* is a booger eating moron in day-to-day life. With that said, what I do know is either he (or his staff) crafted a message that is real leadership. 👇

That’s the difference between a business tycoon with real world experience managing things in an environment where results matter….and an academic.

That’s not hating on academics at all, but they’re a different breed from business moguls.

With Khan, the level of bureaucratic bull**** in that reply is exactly zero. I love that response. And another thing to note…it was timely. Think of how long it took him to reply, vs Frenk.
 
Good lord...two self-appointed "I'm smarter than you types" who have blindly equated a strongly-worded press release (written by the PR guy) with "leadership".

And we wonder why some of our fans are so clueless about what needs to be done.

I can only imagine the number of verbal handjobs that would have been thrown at Frenk if he had just drafted his letter more eloquently...

"I am not firing him because I’m not paying the buyout and he’s going to USC anyway"

Yes, that is what is really happening. Khan made an enormous miscalculation in hiring Urban, and now he is going to give Urban enough rope to hang himself so that there is no further financial impact to Jacksonville.

...if you open a thread by a blowhard pontificating on "leadership" and "management" by Frenk or James, you can pretty much guarantee a football-knowledge-free diatribe, and that Porsts 1a and 1b are going to come from the brain trust who claimed that Tad Foote was unfairly victimized and that Marcus Lemonis is the alpha voice on the BOT (and whose Tweets are pretty much official pronouncements of UM policy).

Oh, and that one of those porsts will be edited throughout the day to look not-quite-as-bad as when it was first porsted...

If Urbie wins their next 4 games in a row there could be footage of him finger banging a goat in a Tijuana whorehouse and Shad Khan wouldn't say ****. This is just a CYA move in case he decides to eventually fire him or so he doesn't look like a complete cuck if Urbie just quits.

Winning solves everything for sure. But Kahn is certinly setting the stage.

Well I hope they keep losing so I can keep picking different teams against them in my survivor pool
