- Overall Physicality.
When "Will Miami play with the same physicality they had vs ND" is a main talking point (or key to the game) in the pregame then your team ain't physically enough. We should be able to sleepwalk and physically overwhelm Pitt, UNC, Syracuse, UVa, GT, Duke. We don't have any brute strength IMO.
- Teaching Physicality
I don't see our defensive player get physical with WR/TEs. During the Alabama-Clemson game they asked an Alabama player "What are you going to do to stop the play makers on Clemson?" and the player responded by saying "we're going to put our hands on 'em." Thats what I don't see from us. To many times we give WR/TE free releases (in man or zone) and we don't disrupt the timing or reroute them AT ALL. I low-key want to see our CB/LB mug WR/TEs. Other teams have been mugging our players all year yet we don't mug theirs. Our WRs have been mugged in countless games and DL has been held all year and nothing gets called.. like they say.. if you can't beat 'em join 'em. Lets see how great they are when we play by their rules.
- Great running game.
We need a great running game so it doesn't necessary matter who is the QB if we can be one of the best running teams in the country (Like ND earlier in the season). I want to be less reliant on QBs and more reliant on a physical running game kinda like Wisconsin, Clemson etc. Tired of 3rd and 1 or 2 and we can't get it running the ball. It ridiculous.
- Better run defense.
41st run defense. F***ing Oregon finished with a better run defense then we did. That's a F***ing embarrassment.
- Not make average QB look like Tom Brady vs us.
We always try to make excuses for these QBs who go off on us. "He had the game of his life!" Enough of that. Make bad QB look back. Like we did that Syracuse QB. How can we seriously become a title contender when this is a constant trend?
-SPECIAL TEAMS
The biggest joke on our team. Place kicking? ***. Punting? ***. Kick Coverage? ***. We do nothing even at an average level on special team.
- Recruiting.
Obviously.
