What Mario brings

It has been a long time since I have wholeheartedly agreed with one of your posts.

But this one...I do.

Mario may not be the best coach...but he's the right guy for Miami right now.

Step #1 is Mario needs to get Miami to where he was able to get Oregon. 10 wins most years...finishing the year somewhere from 5 to 15. Then...its up to Miami to get Mario over the hump and into that CFP mix. The ACC is WIDE OPEN now that Venebles is out at Clemson. No excuses to get to the top of the ACC.

Miami needed the investment...Miami needed a capable director of athletics
..and Miami needed a football coach that understands the standard.

Now...just need to execute.
God ****.

Hit this one out of the park.

Right?

Feels good man, clicking on those classic threads and seeing your own takes hit.

Some of us just built to have good, well reasoned takes, brother.
I just took a jab..lol, you asked for it.

But nah, its all good.

Take was definitely spot on.

I mean, Mario took some licks with his coaching decisions. But when he decided to just manage, as in making good hires (recognizing bad hires) and focusing on his strengths, OL & DL, and recruiting. Plus building quality depth at most positions.

His ceiling rose drastically.

I’m just glad the Lane Train derailed. I’ll ride or die with Mario any day. I love old school football values.
