What is your expectations for the Alabama Game?

Don't want to comment as I don't want to jinx it. Squeeky bum game for Baga they win a close one . We skull fook then to win number 6 in the rematch.

I expect us to be in this game all the way to the end. I don't expect a win right now but I think it's a small possibility. I look at bamas offense and what their fall camp reports are saying and I see young playing ok,Robinson being a solid rb with bigger play guys as back ups. Wrs are decent but the freshman haven't surpassed bolden,Williams or baker. Metchie is a stud but those other three are good but nothing like they've had. I think te has potential to be a problem. And the oline sounds much weaker than the last couple years.

We really need to not make mistakes like penalties, drops, missed tackles or busted assignments. A team this expierenced has to play as disciplined as bama. If we do that and make a few plays on offense we can be competitive at least. If there's a perfect time to upset Alabama this is it.

I am confused as to why no one seems to think we can win this game or make it close. This is our best team in over a decade and they are starting a true frosh with no true experience. I think we win this thing. We just need to stop the run and we win.

Well saying it’s our best team in over a decade really isn’t saying much lol. We have had some pretty ****** teams in the last decade.

And he isn’t a true frosh either.

Just don’t get spooked and shook early and lose the game before it starts. That alone would be a big step forward. I dont want to look up and its 24-3 with 8 left in the 2nd and the Young kid looks comfortable enough to make his bed up back there.

This team we are facing rarely loses under this HC, so I don’t expect a W but I would be happy if we are in reach going into the 4th. I expect us to have some success/splash plays early but I also expect them to wear us down running the rock though and not make the mistakes that lose games because Saban teams dont beat themselves. We have yet to prove that we don’t beat ourselves under this HC and we will need to play flawless to pull this off.

Get to Charlotte.

I think they try and bully us from the jump. Let’s not flinch and buckle down. Saban will want to take any hope we have away early and demoralize is if they can.

I expect the talent gap to be significant, the coaching gap to be larger, but the resource gap to be insurmountable.

They'll have analysts scouting out everything to a 't' and doing their best to steal signs, especially when they are on offense and we are in defense (since our warp-speed offense can limit it a bit.)

In the end, it will be a kick in the nuts and set the program back, show how far we are from being on the level of a team with no limits on resources. Only an idiot like Beta Blake James would schedule Alabaga on a neutral field, as there's no upside to it besides a paycheck.
I don’t think they’re gonna be worried about stealing signs.. but your dead about the difference in resources. They have an army of football minds picking apart every single aspect of whatever team they face, and that’s a real advantage.

For the people expecting to lose, I scratch my head. If the mindset is expect to lose you WILL lose.
For the fans expecting to win it is the ingredient to pulling off the upset. You have to expect to win to have a chance.
Alabama and teams like them have been upset before and they can be beat when we play them in the opener. It starts with expecting to win.
Whether or not we think Miami wins is completely irrelevant, believing otherwise is magical thinking.

You’re new to college football, I see!! Welcome!!

Bring the pressure from the get. Don't coach scared and don't play scared. Put pressure on Young to make plays, and don't allow their OC to get comfortable. If we grab an early lead we have a chance.

I expect DK leadership to really payoff in the offense. We will put up our share of points.

Defensively, I believe we will see Bob Shoop's help payoff, and we will be aggressive.

Competitive game that we win in the end :)

I just want our team to look like a legitimate Power 5 contender; fully prepared with minimum mental mistakes.

I just want our guys to look respectable. I'm getting rather tired of teams like Clemson beating the brakes off us over and over again.

I want a good old fashioned brawl.

Stay within 14 and don't squeeze it close when their back ups are in. Keep it close compete and make some game breaking plays at least on both sides of the ball.

Their regular season losses over the last decade are:

2019: #2 LSU and #15 Auburn
2017: #6 Auburn
2015: #15 Ole Miss
2014: #11 Ole Miss
2013: #4 Auburn
2012: #15 Texas A&M
2011: #1 LSU

I don't think it's impossible to beat them. They sometimes lose these games. But they're also 42-8 against ranked teams in that same time period (SEC ranking bias aside).

Given what we saw last year, I'm worried about Miami letting them jump ahead by a lot really quickly. I have confidence that if Miami can hang for the first quarter then it'll be a game. And I don't mean barely hang, like the Clemson game, I mean they look even through 1.
If Bama jumps ahead big early then it’s over. I would really be upset. Sick and tired of our team starting off so slow. At the very least, our Defense better maintain them.
