What is one game that you guys can see as a trap-game?

Spot on about the "tough game" and "trap game." I don't think this is a trap game at all, but I do think it will be a tough game. I'm more worried about this one than I was the Florida game. I think we are better and will win the game, but I can see this being a more difficult game than Florida.

USF wasn't terrible last year and played Bama tough. Maybe that's why some of us, myself included, think this is no gimmie. They do play Bama this coming weekend, so we will know a little more about them after that game.
Yeah reading the comments I think we are all on the same page

Can’t guarantee wins but with the leadership on this team I don’t see us lapsing in focus and preparation which is what I suppose leads to trap games for me

I don’t think you could consider UL a trap game, they went to the ACC championship last year. People know they’re a good team. Trap game would be one you expect to win and are caught in a fist fight. Maybe USF, we’ll see how they look against Bama. I would say Cal, they are a new opponent for us, in between 2 familiar foes (UL/VT) and it’s a long journey over there.

I think regardless Cam Ward and our vets on defense (Kiko, Bain, Powell) will have all our guys ready to focus on 1-0 every week.

As much as Mario will have them ready to go, he is not in the head of the 18-46 year olds that make up the team.
There will be flat games and flat moments, it is human nature, the difference between this year and others, although early, the margins don’t feel as thin.
OL and DL being good to great, a dependable run game and a high level QB give us room to move (while was the case even against FLA).
It’s the sort of combination that over the course of a game, turns it to where you need to TD on the final drive into, we are up by 10 with 3 mins to go.

Cal 100%. Play them in NCAA 25 and tell me they don’t got speed for days to burn our secondary if we sleep on them. Plus on West coast also hoping our Miami boys don’t start having too much fun in Cali.

At this point I wouldn’t consider Louisville to be a trap game, that’s probably the best game on our schedule. I guess i’d say USF cause maybe Golesh could cook up a great offensive game plan, or Wake Forrest as Clawson normally has them well coached.

Louisville is probably going to be the strongest opponent, USF may be sneaky good and the Cal road trip is a thing.

Riskiest game is gonna be some game against a team that is bleeding all the clock trying to steal a win and Miami has a turnover and it turns into a situation where there are not a lot of possessions available to separate from the inferior team.

@South Fla, Va Tech, @louisville, @Ga Tech are the 4 games to watch out for. All 4 have QBs who can just catch on fire and all 4 are running QBs. Va Tech overrated, and South Fla should have more UM fans then South Fla fans. Ga Tech and Louisville is a revenge game, cannot wait for those games

Every game...take nothing for granted. If we stay focused and take one game at a time, we'll go undefeated IMO. Now go smash FAMU on Saturday

@ Cal. Really long flight and could see us not taking them seriously. They’re a bowl-quality team with a stud RB that could make things close if they slow the game down.

We’ll be amped for UL and GT. I don’t see those as traps.

Hope the coaches and team leaders are serious enough about every week.

The ACC is improved this year, a lot of games that will be tougher than UF and/or traps.

Including Louisville, Cal, GT, and Syracuse
