What I'm seeing and hearing...

Yes, he listens to 2 people and they both happen to be diminutive in stature.
Just guessing the two:

Not sure where they ranked. I have family in Fort Wayne and know they recruited him pretty hard. Most of the BIG schools did. I'm basing my opinion on our offense and where Indiana is sitting right now.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it stated that Mendoza wanted to come here, but we were slow playing him looking for a bigger fish? Could’ve sworn after Beck declared for the NFL, ala Cam Ward, we went full blown to flip him from his decision, & he took full advantage of our offer. Thus Mendoza went to the school that prioritized him.

That’s how I remember it after it was reported he entered the portal & Mendoza’s father allegedly being close to Mario.

This isn’t defending Mario because it’s his team and everything that happens with it is his responsibility. He’s got the most blame in this, period. But nobody in a billion years will convince me that the section on Dawson’s play-sheet for short-yardage has nothing but 13 personnel A-gap runs.

Not 13 for 13 in a single game. Never.
Mario needs to stay out of the offense period. We are insomnia producing offense……… I have thought that his offensive line is not athletic enough to execute toss sweeps, pin& pull, simple trap plays
I am getting exhausted watching Mario’s run offense

How do we always end up with the most stubborn coaching staffs in America? Shannon, Golden, Richt, and now Wario are some of the most stubborn corches I’ve ever seen.
Richt too God Bless him, as spectacular of a human being and UM alum as he is, and if Mario was remotely like Richt, we’d be better for it, but I recall @The Franchise and I both having issues with his bro-style outdated playcalling. I recall Thomas Brown and Searles I believe - and Richt Jr as the QB coRch.

We have been a victim of it but I literally see it all over college football over the years as I’m sure you’d agree. So many smartest guy in the room types out there that shoot themselves in the foot because of ego.

I think you may be right. Honestly though I think Beck was better of the two. Indiana has better coaching in my opinion. Cam definitely made our offense look good last year.

There are plenty of meatheads masquerading as college HCs!!!!

Everyone did. Lol.

Only a few ?’d or brought caution to the wind. There was a lot of excuses being made for Beck’s ineptitude last season in UGA, & felt being in a QB friendly O here behind the Great-Wall of Mirabal would = back to back #1 overall picks.

Why is Lofton still playing then. Play the other guys who are healthy. Brock Schott is who I want to see give the kid a chance
That's the question I asked several weeks ago.

Elija is & has allegedly been completely beat to sh*t injured all year, yet hasn't missed a game, nor has he even been mentioned once in the weekly injury reports.

If he really is that hurt, why continue to play him every week?

One of the problems the last 25 years is miami never seems to adjust the scheme to fit the players. We always seem to make the players fit the scheme. Maybe we should adjust our air raid scheme to fit the personnel for this year's team. Maybe go back if next year's personnel changes and adjust accordingly.

Our coaches just always make the players fit the scheme. Its frustrating to watch since other schools clearly adjust and outscheme us.
Don Shula was such a great coach in his prime. He won with completely different roster strengths, always adjusting scheme to fit the talent he has and then maximizing the use of that talent with minimal mistakes. Mario like so many is a round hole/square peg guy.
