What are you thoughts on Bobby Bowden?

**** Bobby Bowden. **** Jimbo. **** F$who. **** Tallahassee. **** every F$who fan. **** Sebastian Jan. **** that stupid *** horse and the ******* who rides him. **** Garnett and gold. **** any ******* who tries to call any semenhole the next Sean Taylor. **** anyone who has anything nice to say about all the aforementioned. And if I forgot anyone, **** (him/her/it) too.
 
Always willing to play us. FSU wouldn't be FSU without what Bobby Bowden did for them. Legendary figure like Joe Paterno, sans pedophilia.

That being said, he did like using the stair punishment a bit too much for major offenses. But, he was doing what he had to do to win. Our coaches and players weren't choir boys either in the 80's - 90's.

I actually got his autograph on a football for my stepbrother who is a huge FSU fan. Very pleasant and respectful man.

That being said, always enjoyed us beating FSU. You can be a good coach all you want, but you're still the enemy. :kiwi-fruit:
 
I liked when he called out UF and ND for refusing to play Miami. I also liked when he said we should of been in the championship game instead of them.
 
Best politician outside of DC. Anyone who worked the magic to keep UM out of the 2000 championship is gifted. The BCS era was short for 'Bowden's Computer System'.
 
I lost all respect for St Bobby when he pulled the scholarship for the kid that kick the first wide right. After that he was a punk.

Or the time that Bowden's coaches ran around the country exploiting the murder of Marlin Barnes for recruiting purposes.....sorry, dude is a phony and a scummy one too.

The other myth that seems to be pervasive amongst our "fans" is that Bowden is to be respected because "he always played us".......he always played our program because they needed us in order to have access to the Sofla talent.....get over that nonsense already.

It doesn't hurt that one of his prot*g*s is our head coach.

I miss him. I remember when WQAM interviewed him on the morning show. I think it was Defo complimented him on playing anyone anytime anywhere. He responded "Don't give me the credit for that. The AD does all the scheduling. If it was up to me I would schedule high schools"He hesitated and said"And none from Dade County".

What about the many more times he said FSU should be #2 playing Oklahoma instead of us? His words after the fact mean nothing. Of COURSE it should have been UM playing OU, as evidenced by the pathetic showing his team put on.
