This was Layne’s last stand and he absolutely killed it!. Dude was in so much pain during this period of his life that you could hear the pain in his voice during this show.

What a voice and to think he pulled this off after a lengthy period away from the band is probably one of the many reasons why this set is widely considered the best MTV Unplugged show ever recorded.

May he rest in peace!

Billy Strings is just so freaking good man. He's the most original artist that's out there. Who knew bluegress and psychedelic jams would work....
