I saw David Byrne last night. It was the best show that I have seen in a long time. Any Miami people who are Talking Heads (or music) fans should go see him tomorrow or Saturday at the Fillmore. It was crazy.

He did not. But it was theatrical. So all of the instruments were wireless. It was him, 5 dancers/singers, and then 7 bands members (guitar, bass/synth, drummer, percussion, and strings). The whole show was the full band walking around and choreographed dancing. Then the stage was surrounded in UHD screens, including the full floor. So it was a completely immersive stage. It was mind bending as to what a show can be. I went to the Sphere in 2024 for Phish. This was the closest that I have seen to that and the only other comparable music experience I have had.
