What a smug

Then you haven't been paying attention.
Seriously though, how can Diaz see something like this and not be embarrassed? This reflects on him. And why would Enos say something so dumb? Even if he was just making it easier for Manny to pull the trigger, he has to know the internet is forever. I'm not an X's and O's guy, but I know what people mean by spread.

Because he truly believes it's all the players failing to do what he wants. His system would work just fine if the players would just do what he wants.

The same way Diaz cried on ESPN2 about it’s hard to recruit with a 6-6 record, the same way he cried in Sept 2019 about LB depth

I have absolutely zero respect for Manny and the staff he’s assembled

I fully expect us to **** the bed against LaTech, with no consequences

Oh I don't doubt he thinks that. But I don't believe he doesn't know what a spread offense is and I don't believe Diaz is blind to the fact that Enos is causing their losses. That's the only way to explain losing to bad teams and beating good ones.

The one thing I'm certain of is that there will be no further improvement with Enos as OC unless they manage to suddenly recruit an offensive line from Nebraska from 1975.

But this is exactly what we saw with al and Doritos. I'm not sure why it's hard to believe.

He’s not wrong.

But if the problem is “getting on the same page,” then why not run a simple offense that’s easy for everyone to understand and get on the same page?

Been saying it. We need to run a high school offense.
His offense was horrible by the end of the year because they dumbed it down so much. I bet his offense would be effective with a more aware & fundamentally sound group of players. We couldn't get plays in let alone shift to make the defense react. Not a good fit here

That falls on the coach. Any good OC runs plays to their death where players can do it in their sleep. If you can’t line up or remember plays then it’s not being installed or repped enough.

It's like he's pouting. Or he really wants out. It's in EVERYONE'S interest for him to move on, including Enos himself. He could leave now, get Manny to say some good things, spin it creatively about "fit" and such. But if he stays and next year's offense looks like this one, it will get ugly and probably tanks his career.

Hubris and inflexibility. Two traits that make people fail in life. Golden, Dorito and many more have fallen because of this. This guy is next. I am in the minority, but i dont think he makes it past this year. He's dumb because he's going to lose his job.
Bingo! Pride cometh before the fall.

Enos should wipe that smug look off his face & think long & hard about the future of his career...because there will be no future if he fails at Miami. He needs to re-assess the offensive scheme completely.

...except his offense finished 130 out of 130 in 3rd down conversions. I'm pretty confident any of us could get out there, choose the starting 11, clap our hands and have the players play sandlot ball and do better than that. It's actually impossible to do worse.

oh i 100% agree. He is smarter than all of us in his mind. Like 130 is horrendous, but in his mind he is smart, and def smarter than mere fans

Great, ship his *** off to Stanford
