One can only theorize how good he may have been if he had started from day one of the season. Thanks to a stubborn coach with an ancient agenda this did not happen.
Too immature for season opener,, has progressed nicely. One can only theorize how good he may have been if he had started from day one of the season. Thanks to a stubborn coach with an ancient agenda this did not happen.
I'll keep these pros and cons very simple because I have an IQ of 72.
Cons: those dropped passes and the way my ********s shrink every time we have to kick the ball in any capacity
Pros:
NP looks like a no-nonsense leader on the field. I wish I'd never seen any of his social media as it biased me. Nobody throws a better screen and he's got a lovely deep ball. And what about those open field moves? Did you know his name is Swahili for WARRIOR
The running game is fuggin stout.
The defense is very very good.
Yesterday we lined up better athletes and they actually responded like better athletes.
JT's electric punt return. I saw early in the game one of the turkeys got into it with JT and JT pointed at him and seemed to say "just wait mudder flucker, just wait". Jeff Thomas is American for PROPHET
LETS GO CANES
Hey, shout out to his QB coach(to us) for coachin’ him up. Fair is fair, right boys...... Kosi’s getting better.
I mostly attribute this to his natural ability getting to meet game experience. In my opinion, he’s learning during the games, not the practices.Hey, shout out to his QB coach(to us) for coachin’ him up. Fair is fair, right boys...... Kosi’s getting better.
Agree that would be a positive way to end the season. However, in addition to the stuff every single thread is about these days, im concerned with Richt’s magical ability to figure out his team’s problems only after losing 4 in a row. 3 years in a row? Now it’s a thing, and I’ll expect to see it next year. For the first time and in a long time I enjoyed Watching a Miami football game, felt even better when we were able to pull away.
If we can finish up and go 8-5 on the season that should be something to build off of this lost season
This kind of euphoria is exactly what I feared after a win like yesterday. Kudos to the players for giving it their all. They deserved the win. I hope they continue to win. I like getting drunk after a win, like I did last night (I have a terrible hangover!). But this win came at a cost of two promising young TEs. The 30 year-old play calling exposed them to being injured. Proof? The rest of the game and the W at the end without them. The constant short yardage dinking and dunking to the TEs on the sides and the dives by the RBs all disappeared after the TEs were out of the game. Hopefully they are not career ending injuries, I have not followed up on their status. But remember the throws up the middle to our TEs in the past? Ain’t seen one with this play caller. So unless we see more games like last night and better, this win really masks the deep problems we have in some of the coaching. By all means, a win felt like a long-anticipated ******, teased and denied for so long, finally erupting no matter how ugly the date was. Amen to that. I hope all of Cane Nation experienced the joy. But this coaching staff has work to do. Work to improve the play calling. Work to develop the kids. Work to coach harder. Work to win when they are supposed to. Work to step down if you’re not coaching up to standards. If this does not happen, prepare for more heartaches.
I sure hope so.Euphoria?
I don't see it.
Relief would be a better description.

I have noticed that when the other team commits a blatant penalty(Facemask no call yesterday) that the refs seem to pretend they never saw it.
Oh wait that's been happening since the early 80's![]()
How did the refs miss that? I find it hard to believe they didn’t see Cam get his neck twisted for 2 seconds as he’s carrying the ball.

What about the VT catch that got overturned? The back ref was standing literally 5 yards behind the play and somehow did not see the ball laying in the ground? They had a perfect camera angle that showed exactly what that ref saw and he called it a catch. After that I was thinking man it’s tough to play against 12 players.
