What’s up with Garcia

Needs a sports psychologist. That boy throws interceptions that are of the egregious variety. Sometimes the defense makes excellent plays. Sometimes it looks like the quarterback may have a gambling problem. I don’t know what he is seeing sometimes.

Yeah, TVD had the same **** earlier this year.

I’m sensing a theme…

I think he’ll be fine, but you’re correct.

Waited in line like he's supposed to and then ***** the bed when his opportunity comes. You hate it but not enough to keep him in and lose. Its JB's time. Garcia is going to probably portal back to the west coast.

Quarterback play as a whole fell off a cliff this year. Thankfully we didn’t hire the head coach’s bff to be quarterback coach.

Wait…
Not defending Ponce by any means but aside from TVD going brain dead in the first half of the MTSU game, he’s only thrown 2 INT’s otherwise.

Garcia has just as many in a fraction (54 compared to TVD’s 245). The kid needs a fresh start somewhere else.

Garcia is cut from that same California mold as Uiagalelei and Young; all went to same prep football camps and groomed as superstars; hyper focused on their mechanics and what not, opposed to getting their heads ready for big time college football.

Bryce Young had "it" and he thrived, while Uiagalelei and Garcia don't appear to have the head for it—both too big for their britches and seeming more concerned with NIL money, social media and their insta-fame than they are becoming winning quarterbacks.

We'll see if Garcia turns it around, but I'd bank on him transferring somewhere he can start. Probably best suited to be a big fish in a little pond as the city of Miami is too distraction-filled for the kid to put his heart into winning the starting job.

DJ has thrown for 2,100 yards, 65% comp, and 19-5 TD-INT this season. 9-1 record.

Yes, he’s not Watson or Lawrence at Clemson, and he doesn’t have video-game stats, but to compare him and Garcia is ridiculous.

Couple that with the fumbles and you got a huge liability that can’t be trusted on the field.

It’s not just the picks. TVD’s numbers are down across the board. He looked hesitant and uncomfortable pretty much every game.
