So so we even need one? Save the money and pay the players. I kid but not really.
That’s really unorthodox but I don’t hate it. My lone worry with that, inevitably another hire will be coming in a major sport. How does that decision making go down?Mike Ryan hinted that the people at UM playing AD are liking it a little too much and on the OBB pod Rudy Fernandez kinda said the same. Teased a CEO of Athletics as opposed to an AD role.
They got us Jai Lucas and Mario so right now let’s let em cookThat’s really unorthodox but I don’t hate it. My lone worry with that, inevitably another hire will be coming in a major sport. How does that decision making go down?
True. Most ADs are just glorified fundraisers. So I wouldn’t hate hiring a business person to keep us relevant in the business of college sports. They got us Jai Lucas and Mario so right now let’s let em cookThat’s really unorthodox but I don’t hate it. You must use an AD blocker. What’s an AD?

We have interim ADs who are leading us for now. We got a really big team.Of course it’s nice to have the boosters involved especially since they got us Mario, Jai, and the Nike deal. Still though you gotta have a leader for the business side and the lower athletics. Who is gonna be the one rebuilding the ticketing system, overhauling baseball, leading the fundraising itself. We gotta have a singular figure, even if the boosters always lurk.
