West Virginia vs VTech

What has Leach ever won?
Most of his disciples have passed him up in terms of being a quality coordinator. They all realized that you have to occasionally run the ball and Leach is just **** bent on throwing 70% of the time no matter what. Still, the Air Raid principles developed by him and Hal Mumme are the backbone of the modern football passing offense. He’s been more influential to the actual game than 95% of the coaches out there.

Besides, there’s literally 5 active head coaches who have won a national title. The whole “a coach has to win a championship to be good” argument doesn’t really apply to college football. Especially when there’s only about 4 teams capable of winning one.

Nah, he doesn't do what it takes to win at the highest level.

Like I already posted, he's more interested in proving he can win without running the ball than he is in actually winning the game.

Plus, he's not really interested in recruiting. He's at his best at a school where winning 8 games with a roster full of mid three stars keeps him employed.

Still, any good offensive coordinator who's using modern passing concepts has at least borrowed from Mike Leach. He's definitely the most influential offensive coach in college football today. Followed by Rich Rodriguez.

Not sure if you're serious? But he's won everywhere he's been with less talent than Miami ever had. And his coaches/players have done well after departure like Harrell, Kingsbury, Huepel, Riley, Welker, Holgorsen, etc.

Whoooa whoa! No facts are allowed on CIS. Cut that **** out.

There is no such thing as parity in college football. They have talked about that word for about 15 years, it is nonsense. If there was parity, there would be different teams winning championships on the national and conference level. The fact is there are not. There is no parity in college football and there never has been. There never will be. The concept of parity is a fantasy
It was a joke. Parody.

I do believe there will be more than 4 teams capable of winning a national championship. It will take time.

There just needs to be 8-12 teams that get their share of talent. Alabama may have the #1 recruiting class, but we'll have the #1 offensive line recruiting class. It already showed up against Texas. They don't have the dominant offensive line they had just a year or two ago.

As teams like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio St, and Clemson get less of the top talent, more teams will be able to compete with them. They won't have the huge gap in talent or depth.

Another big factor will be the new 12 team CFP. I think this will help spread the talent as well.

Yah, we may not have parity in 40-50 teams, but I would consider 10-12 teams a move in the right direction and better for college football.

He’s changed his philosophy since going to Miss St.

What has he won? Why can’t he get better talent if he’s so good?
