"We're still on probation"

He doesn't feel any pressure because he doesn't want to be here. He's been trying to get fired since Ped State rejected his sausage-fingered advances. What pressure does a guy who would prefer providing 8th team color commentary on ESPN 3 broadcasts while cashing buyout checks feel?

I agree, it doesn't matter if he knew. This job was a major upgrade from Temple, in every aspect.

... But I still think he knew about the prospective NCAA situation.

I think he sold the admin on his ability to navigate the situation based on his experience dealing with sanctions at Temple. He's actually let is slip a few times early in his tenure.

He made a comment about having experience working a big recruiting board when you have to deal with sanctions, and that would help him get the talent he needed to Miami. I'm sure he sold Miami that same story.

He also knew he could bail at the next best opportunity, which is why his agent was so quick to get an extension to end the first mediocre season.

As much as we hate the BOT and AD, they didn't initiate that ... That was Golden's agent striking while they had leverage, IMO, and earning his money.

why does any of this come as a shock anymore? i mean, the guy carries around a binder as a coach, for god's sake.
unfortunately for him, that "we're still on probation" jive is not working anymore; we can thank osu and urban meyers for that one.
i said this a while ago, al golden has been more of a detriment to this program than nevin shapiro. he's defrauded the university out of millions..he deserves just as much jail time as any other crook.

And that doesn't mean he did not slip the guy a $20 to ask about it. Excuses are Al go to play.

No comparison: Obama is accomplishing everything he intended to as president. Al has accomplished nothing.
 
I haven't been less excited for college football in a very long time. If I watch even half of our games this year, it will only be to watch the possible progression of Kayaa assuming he doesn't get worse just by being here.

He's the biggest pussified coward to ever walk the sidelines for this program. Guy has no ******* clue what accountability is because he holds himself accountable for nothing.

What a great ******* example to be a leader of young men.....the worst administration in the country really outdid themselves with this hire.

Rooting for 0-12 and this fat **** to get hit by a small truck. Either will do.

No kidding. Average fans knew there was something brewing, if not the extent of it.

He is being intellectually dishonest and if not, he should fire his agent for not doing his due diligence when looking into the job.
 
He feels no pressure bc Not 1 soul from UM is pressuring him. AD like what AG is doing.
