This was what I said about the subject:

My theory is that Lashlee wasn't happy with the performance of the RBs on inside zone/zone read and Duo plays, and Brown has a good skillset for those schemes. Ideally Chaney progresses with those run schemes after excelling on gap/power plays and becomes the lead back, or Cam has a huge Sr year with improved footwork and explosion like Najee Harris showed, but if neither of those things happen Brown should be ready to compete. Knighton is talented but profiles as more of a space/satellite back, and Thad has the type of skillset (dancing big back) that usually takes time/seasoning to make a strong impact.

Guys are talking about Brown vs '22 backs but that's discounting the possibility he competes and provides depth right away.

Before you know it, peeps gonna have this young lion as a dark horse for QB1.

We fuggin?

We byke?

This is true. Pads determine everything for a running back but I'm hoping Cody pushes Thad.
Heard this also, and struggling is putting it lightly.. Heard he was being a knucklehead and some guys mixed it up because of it.. Wont say much more but rb depth chart is influx and there is a reason they are tryna expedite Chaney.. Thad had major opportunity but he not bout that life

Sounds like a RS for Thad. Not a bad thing. Some kids are focused and don't need the shirt. Others have been bigger, stronger, faster than everyone, and have yet to have had to really work for something. Let's hope he's not a bum like Lingard.

Go Canes!

You are coming to this conclusion based on a tweet in July?
