Most people laugh at stuff, even when it’s self-deprecating....if it’s actually funny. Next time, try harder to be funny.

I think it all goes back to 93 when Grady Little left Pedro Martinez in and the Yankees rallied. Managers are afraid they will be fired if they leave a starter in too long. Of course, everyone could see Martinez was spent while Cash was on the top of his game.

I don't get it. There's a difference between constructive criticism of the football program and taking shots. I'll never understand why do people who profess to be fans are constantly coming on a Canes football site to take shots at the very same program they're suppose to be fans of. I'll never get it. Like, wtf!

I thought that was the spirit and theme of the "Roast" OP. But yet ironically the fans of the most irrelevant of the teams mentioned are actually the one's most hurt. I guess it was only funny when Georgia and the Rays were roasted?

OK. Except most people on this thread have openly said it wasn't funny, so your point isn't valid.

I'm not saying the comment was stupid or insulting or anything. Just lazy and not funny. It was basically a knock-knock joke.

Fair enough, but that’s what roasting is sophomoric jesting. The Georgia fans welcomed the jesting while some Cane fans not so much. Which actually tells where both programs are currently. Which we can all agree is no laughing matter.

I have said it for a while.... a lot of our fans love to be able to be tough guy bragger **** heads... so because we’ve sucked they’ve turned on our own fans to fill that void....

thus the need to be cool and right on a message board about everything....

Not sure it fits in this case. That said we have a lot of cool kids flooding in to **** on off season positives for really just to be cool kids to **** on off-season positives as if everyone here doesn’t already know that winning is all that matters .... TWill said all conference — whaaaaa canes tears 😭
