Welcome to the U Therrell Gosier

Woke up and found out yesterday was not a dream. It is like Al finally read the end of the psu email and realized he is staying here. Nice recruiting. Can't remember ever having many recruits for two years ahead like 2016. Very nice.

The University of Miami recruits itself, Al Golden doesn't get that much credit... The LB from oak leaf didn't chose Miami because of "Al Golden"

Darrion owens deserves credit, just like Duke Johnson & Malcom Lewis deserve credit for pulling Tracy Howard. If he was a recruit from Out of state, then maybe you can say "nice job Al"

Why everyone up Golden's *** if what you say has any credibility, just wondering.

Yea so im sure the kid will tell you Al had nothing to do with his commitment. You have to be f n retarded.

Golden has been recruiting his *** off since he has been here. He is very organized, a hard working and has a plan when it comes to recruiting. Again, for anyone to call themselves a Canes fan and not supporting him at this time is a joke.

There are things you can question and criticize Golden for, recruiting, IMO, is not one of them. He's too highly organized, and he's also got the gift of gab. Hopefully the other question marks workthemselves out in the coming year, especially since he's got his players and system in place. It's a no-excuses year now.

If Al Golden would have taken the Penn State Job, Miami would have been better off long term & maybe even short term. Sorry to hurt y'all feelings, I know everybody here is apart of the "Al Golden Fan Club" but he "ain't all that" and hasn't proven anything at the university of Miami.

He lost recruiting battles against many top recruiters. More losses off the Field than on.
JC Jackson? LOST
Dalvin Cook? LOST
Alex Collins? LOST
Ermon Lane? LOST
Sony Michel? LOST
Travonte Valentine? LOST
Ect.

Yeah but he's a great recruiter according to y'all? Please. He can't even out recruit Will Muschamp and his team went 4-8. Took two 4-star players right from him....

Al Golden is an abover-average head coach & Not the right guy for UM. There was a reason Penn State Chose James Franklin over him. He's not in Franklin's class as a coach or recruiter. (Penn state top 7 in the country recruiting class).

Players go to Bama for Saban, go to LSU for Les Miles, not many players goes to Miami for Al Golden.

Gonna call bull**** on that one. Regardless of how us "fans" may or may not feel about Coach Golden, these kids and families are looking at he and the school(s) from an entirely different perspective. None of those kids on your list went to the other school because they thought the head coach was the difference. Almost all the kids you hear speak of Golden have nothing but great things to say.

It's not Al's fault that our poor fan attendance and below average faculties caused Sony Michel to pick UGA, last I remember he stated those same exact reasons in why he picked UGA over UM but of course thats Al's fault. Alex Collins the kid wanted to play in the SEC and he built a great relationship with Bret Bielema since he was in Wisconsin so that helped too to be honest with you look at Bielema has done with RBs sent them to league, can't really blame that on Al since UM was in the thick of things. JC JAckson that is not Al's fault if anything Al did his best to where he was really thinking about it and his dad wanted him at UM, Cook and Lane I think we were a distant 3rd in the race you can't fault Al on Cook since he did put on the full court press on him till he decide and Lane stopped talking with UM coaches after his UF commitment but UM coaches still tried to purse him and we lose TV flaw out. And players do come play for Al they have stated that.
And PSU didn't offer Franklin the job till Al said he was staying..

Like I said before recruit athletes and they will fulfill their potential. This dude looks awful quick to be 6"6". He doesn't have a skinny persons head so he's gonna be a lot bigger after a couple years in the U Tough program. If we get those 2 JC guys that just visited and a really good DT I'm gonna buy ol Al and staff a fat sack.

Oh awesome, this again. And in an appropriate place, I might add.

Yes, of course. He gets the blame for "misses" and no credit for gets. Got it.

Let me fax you over the correct talking points. Everyone we get is credited to Coley, Hurlie or Larry Scott. Every miss is attributed directly to Golden or (to a MUCH lesser extent) Barrow. Kehoe and BC get credited or discredited depending on which way the wind is blowing that day. You're discouraged from even involving D'Onofrio in recruiting talk as that may take away from the preferred daily requirement of at least 100 posts about the D and/or his weight. Got it?

So Golden doesn't get credit for recruiting Owens which in turn recruited Quarterman ..... Golden doesn't get credit for recruiting M. lewis and Bush which recruited Howard ..... ok mane #Dale

We all support the canes even if our opinion of the coach is different from yours, he's a pretty good recruiter but the way us fans want UM back he has to be an elite recruiter which he is not. Just because your hard working and organized doesn't make you a good recruiter, when you lose elite prospects in your yard then you can see way we are a 9 win team year in and out give or take. Some of you fans put his recruiting on a pedestal and it's not that great, it's better than Shannon's but we need to have a beastly class every year if we want our 01 02 canes back. besides his game day weaknesses which an elite recruiter can cover up his closing is not that great since he whiffed on Alex Collins and Cooper, don't get me started about DT where we have new bodies there and everyone magically expects our DL to be great with DTs with no D1 experience. Wycher is hit or miss,Moten isn't ready, this is what happens when u miss targets like Bryant bostwick and Valentine.

I've seen posts on here talking about a stacked roster and I don't see it, are there some good payers yes but our roster is far from stacked and I think we will be relatively the same as last year but we will beat duke if we have a healthy D Johnson.

whether use like it or not Maurice is right and u guys get mad but it's the truth. we have a dominating team ready for a title run with all the local misses on our roster right now, we would rape Fsu if we had Cooper,Bostwick,6,Bryant,Collins,Lane,Cook,JCjackson,TV........I know I missed a lot more. the truth is the truth whether y'all like it or not. Hopefully we do great things this year but don't expect us to challenge Fsu at all with the way there roster is constructed.

Um PJ Williams um Rashard Robinson
levonte Whitfield
We talking about guys that are projected to be first rounders in mock drafts that are not playing here and that is the difference in winning big and calling yourself nflu.

That's a great point, I didn't factor in the poor facilities & low stadium attendance. But his performance HAS to get better on & off the field. Miami has to beat FSU. But they get blown out by average teams or have tough games against them. That's unacceptable. What it came down to with them was Al Golden's message vs urban Meyer, Nick Saban, Les Miles, Mark Richt, and others. They all have what he doesn't
