wonder if his son already knew this and still decided to go elsewhere.

Interesting timing.

Why not do it a month ago?

@coahingsearch
Malzahn, Saban, and Al Golden have each added notable high school coaches to their off-the-field staff this off-season...

telly? why? no. not the same at all.

because Telly has more connects to the NW Miami Dade area (as in the Miami Gardens area which is flooded with kids Miami has wanted and will continue to want in the future). Like I said it's whatever, I have no problem with Ice getting it now.

Frame this tweet. It might be the last time Golden's name is mentioned with those other two coaches lol

really? telly has more connections in nw dade than ice? I'm not looking for a guy who has some connections in small segment of part of a county. overall, ice is the better hire, imo.

Funny how quickly things change. Last yr he was bad mouthing us to some extent and our fans were calling for his head! lol

Good move IMO for south Florida recruiting.

lmbo at thinking NW Miami Dade is a small segment of the county. If you don't think Telly was very highly regarded in sfl I don't know what to tell you. Ice is here and I'm glad he took an office position at Miami, instead of the one he was rumored to be linked to in Tally last year.

I expects some immediate flips in the near future

I think it's a good hire, but I don't recall that he paid big dividends when he was here under Shannon. I mean, people talked about Ice putting together paths for academically at risk kids to get in but I don't remember it resulting on anything significant.

I mean we did get the #1 recruiting class in the nation the year he stepped foot on campus. We pretty much got all of Miami Northwestern
