I see Al has chosen to adapt.

Very good move IMHO. Al needs someone to bridge the gap to the Miami football community. Ice should help with that.

nice...should make a big difference. enough of this crap between UM and the local hs coaches, which I think was bs anyway. but, now, when a kid doesn't come here, we can't blame ice.

Great move for local ties...

seems just like last crootin season it was talked about that we would never get another booker T kid or that the relationship with ice had soured

pete, how immediate and what dividends do you see this paying this year and beyond?

Again, AL does seem to get it.

One thing for sure, if/when he leaves it will not be for lack of doing everything he can to win. I am interested to see this pan out in the recruiting circle.... At some point all of these recruiters on staff will pay off. I can now say this next class truly has a chance to be special. There is a ton of talent in the area, there is no shortage of recruiters on staff, we have been in contact with all the local studs, we have offered them, now its time to see if we can reel in one of those truly EILTE classes that turns the program into an elite on for years and would hopefully keep Al around for a while.

Well I guess now we can start blaming Ice Harris Jr. .. might as well keep the excuse alive

After a position coach moves on (Carroll, Brown, Williams, etc.) move Harris into that role. Then you bring in another S FL coach into Harris' role and keep that cycle going regardless of who our CEO is.

I like this move.

man they should have given this **** job to Telly last spring before USF came and scooped him up iyam, but whatever.
