As a Steelers fan/Cane/fan of Artie as a human being, I'm gonna hold out hope for the kid until the day he's no longer on the roster. He was thrust into too major a role too quickly by the Steelers staff as they obviously underestimated the time needed to develop him after his years of non-development by the then Canes coRching staff.

I can't even really blame Tomlin & Co though because DB was/is a major weak spot for us and they used a 1st round pick on him. Now is the time for them to correct that error though and get him to the point where at minimum he's contributing in a rotational role.
