Oh, of course. But they were going to win 1-2 more games than the last few years simply from replacing Billy. Billy would single-handedly lose them 1-2 games a year with his coaching blunders. He routinely got penalties for having anywhere from 8-15 men on the field.

The problem is that although there is talent all over the place, they seriously lack depth, particularly on WR and defense. Billy's S&C program was obviously not working very well, as so many players routinely suffered so many injuries over and over. He was also criticized for failing to develop players properly, so the players that are still on the team are having to unlearn bad habits.

It's not a full rebuild there, but it's also not an overnight plug-and-play situation either. They don't have the capacity to make a deep CFP run, considering their weaknesses. But they do have the potential to set themselves up for an improved season, which unfortunately will enable Sumrall to secure a solid recruiting class for next year.

I had them at 7-8. I will say 9 is possible just because the coaching is better. But the secondary , pass rush and qb is not good
 
Jfc just throw the ball away CJ Bailey. 1st and 10 shot play and deep guy is double covered and he just lofts it down there anyways. Shoulda been picked
