- Does UGA drop from #1 after their close call vs the basketball school of the Blue Grass. Not that it really matters, the Bulldogs are going to be a playoff team, but other teams have been dropped and penalized for not scoring expected blowouts. Again, just seeing if there will be some consistency in all this. Regardless, I think UGA is still very much elite. Each week a different week shows up to play. The Kentucky that got blown out by South Carolina at home, wasn't the one that showed up to play Georgia.

- I see a lot of Lamar Jackson in Jalen Milroe. Same caliber of athlete, and the ability to throw deep shots.. Yeah, he's a bit inconsistent with intermediate passes but his athleticism is really off the charts, and it can make up for any other defiencies he may have.

- For all the talk of Shaduer Sanders, if there is a Heisman candidate on the Colorado team, it's Travis Hunter. Yeah, Im being Capt. Obvious here, but I think this point is overlooked a bit. We may never see a player at this level who is considered the #1 receiver and shutdown corner at the same time

- Speaking of the Buffs, much-needed win. But I still wonder how they will do against teams in the Big12 (which has some really solid squads) with better perimeter athletes, and be willing to throw on early downs against them. But they did try and run the ball more vs the Rams, and we even saw a pass completion to a tight end (which Im sure made Daniel Graham feint)

- Anyone notice that the Indiana Hoosiers are 3-0? Curt Cignetti is one of those guys that wherever he goes, his teams put up points and win. They have played a soft schedule (and yeah, that includes UCLA -- that football program in Los Angeles is bad) but they are a fun watch. Their QB Kurtis Rourke looks like a guy who will put up huge numbers this season. Their game vs Nebraska on Oct 19 could be a battle of unbeatens.

- So did the Aggies end the Napier run at Florida? If so, that means UF will be on what, their fourth coach post-Urban Meyer (Muschamp, McElwain, Dan Mullen and now Billy Napier). It's a vicious cycle taking place in Gainseville. Where have you gone Ron Zook?

- Speaking of Texas A@M, did Marcel Reed turn Conner Weigmann into Wally Pipp?

- After the past two weeks, I want to see Northern Illinois face Purdue for some reason. That triangle theory..

- Cal is 3-0, and if they beat Florida State next week in Tally, they could be unbeaten as they host Miami on Oct 5. This is a solid team, and they have a very reliable, sound quarterback in Fernando Mendoza.

- And how bout Wazzu? Score one for the Pac2

- As for Miami, well, they blew out David Letterman U as expected. Getting a tad concerned about this team getting nicked up a bit (Anez Cooper is the latest guy) but this team has some real depth. And if you believe you have a team that can make a real playoff run, managing players workloads and injuries is more important than ever.

Offensively, the Canes and Cam Ward put up big numbers once again. But I am actually a tad concerned about the running game. The offensive line isn't actually getting that much of a push upfront. Yeah, I know they rolled up over 240 yards of rushing, but much of that came late with Ajay Allen and his explosive plays.

But I get it, this may be like complaining that a young Brazilian bikini model has a crooked left toe.

Moving forward, they play a tricky USF team with their pace and space, and it looks like there will be lively crowd in Tampa at Raymond James. This is a game where Miami will probably have to control the tempo a bit by keeping it on the ground for stretches. This contest wont be a layup.

Watching that Kentucky game was very reminiscent watching Miami in 2022

Absolutely gutless playcalling trying for the huge upset they settled for ground and pound and field goals

One of my good friends was a linebacker at Kentucky a few years back and I just kept texting him the “…..” messages

Smart could literally hire any OC he wants. But he had to hire his best friend. Bobo is just a bad play caller. Any time they moved Beck out of the pocket and let routes develop, their WRs were WIDE open. But Bobo insists on that screen and underneath nonsense. If they don’t fix that, Texas and Tennessee are going to beat them.

Also, I wonder what Colbie Young thinks. He could be doing stupid numbers rn if he stayed.

The play calling right before their punt was some of the worst I’ve seen. Should’ve kept running the ball. Anyone with half a brain knew UK wasn’t going to get that ball back with enough time to do anything.

UGA is losing to Bama, Texas, Ole Miss & Tennessee this year.

No playoffs for Georgia.
Wishful thinking, mane! At worst they 3-1 against that bunch, with a slight outside chance of 2-2. They just played down to the competition yesterday, and Stoops apparently left his nuts on the vanity top in his bathroom. Unfortunately…. unless something goes absolutely wrong for them (praying), they will be in the final 12.
