Week 12 Rooting Guide — Path to CFP

I know we think committee is retarded but there is a ZERO% chance ND gets ahead of us if we're both 10-2. We have more ranked wins and the head to head. We'll both probably make it and the committee would have to concede and leave out an SEC team

JUST WIN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
Hate to disagree but i strongly disagree. And they're not retarded, they're corrupt.

I got maybe 10% as ****ed as I usually would when the refs raped Miami in the SMU game...mostly because it looks like the team would lose multiple times anyway. However, if Miami does win out and look good (they won't but still), I think that other 90% of rage will return. I've never seen a team get that ****ed by the refs in my life. Those refs should not only be investigated, but publicly executed.
That 4th and 10 call was unforgivable ..it was like they got call to not let Miami win this game by any means or sumn..I literally lost it when they picked up the flag on the DPI..the ******* corner grabbed him on purpose to stop a TD when he new he was beat basically conceding pass interference and the refs still picked it up like wtf

The way things are trending, a 10-2 Miami (big if on winning out) probably gets an at large bid.

-Texas and OU on track to lose this week and be 9-3 at best.
-Vandy probably losses to Tennessee at the end of the year.
-BYU probably losing to Cincy; 10-2 Cincy isn’t getting in.
-Michigan isn’t beating OSU.
-USC probably loses to Oregon.

I continue to say, and will continue to say, that 10-2 Miami gets in over ND, we get in together, or neither of us get in. Also, no way the CFP can get USF or ND in there, and not us.

Cannot upvote this enough.

All of our "quality games" were early.

It would be AMAZING to beat a Top 15 team on the final weekend, which Pitt would be if they beat ND and GaTech.

Here's my absolutely whacky scenario.

Notre Dame beats Pitt. We beat Pitt. But we end up in some crazy 3 or 4 way tie for the ACCCG. Pitt gets in through tie breakers and wins the ACCCG. USF wins their conference.

Miami is 3-0 against playoff teams.

This Pitt game is going to be so funny

Problem is you have people saying if Texas wins 2 out of their next 3, that they would be deserving to get in, even with 3 losses. That is the issue with pre season polling and the SEC **** gobbling going on in the media

I mean, I know on one level he is kind of right but that’s one of the most vaginal quotes I’ve ever heard from a college football coach on a game so big that college game day is coming to see them and where are the optics of what they could do would mean more for the program than almost anything else they do

What a *****

it wouldn't even matter if OSU lost to Michigan. theyre in regardless.

Bump! We’re up to #15.

USF is now ranked at 23. Helps us a lot.

Teams right ahead of us:

Vandy, Utah, BYU, Oklahoma, Texas. All of those teams can easily lose.

Win out and we’re in, in my opinion. We’ll get the help we need. The hard part is the, you know, winning out part.
