go to the gameday board for miami vs notre dame convos this Saturday; or eye in the sky throughout the week.
It’s been incredible year for college football, and I’m not just saying that because we’re number one. This weekend will be the best one yet. Before then, we got this:
UTSA vs FAU is a good game to check out as UTSA will need to win out to even have a chance to make the playoffs.
On Friday, the fun starts. Future opponent VT travels to SMU for the premier matchup that day. Arizona has been all but eliminated from both playoff contention and Big 12 contention; as they have losses to BYU and Texas Tech who both own only 1 conference loss at this point. Still, there is reason to watch that game if you love CFB, and wanna see the desperation of a man coaching for his job for the rest of the season (TCU).
New Mexico is my favorite to be the G6 representative in the playoffs; and this will be Jason Eck’s last season there. The only question is whether or not Luke Fickell loses enough games for Eck to get his dream job. Nebraska @ Illinois is an interesting B1G matchup because despite the extension last season, the sellout fanbase has by and large turned on Matt Rhule. They have the number one qb commit in the country, so Rhule’s job status could have repercussions for the near-future.
On the other side, Bielma is meeting expectations, coming off a win, and recently got their starting quarterback back. Brian Hartline up against ECU is a solid flip option too.
