him Cloyd & Bissainthe just looked different. they just read react attack. no hesitation. it was a pleasure to see.

I would have to hear more from the guys that see it every day but it looked to me like he had command of the defense on every play. Communicating, making sure everyone knew what to do etc

The one time I remember us looking confused is when I mentioned I am 100% convinced they did that on purpose to confuse the Ohio OL

Having him and Kam out there making the calls should help us with these higher powered offenses

I was impressed with Cloyd too. Thought he'd just be a depth piece, but he played fast, disciined, and tackled well.
 
In addition to the others mentioned above, Colbie Young & Mark Fletcher deserve at least Honorable Mentions. Colbie got the party started on the scoring with a nice explosive play and Mark looked really good once he got settled in.

Hope they both show out against ATM. Colbie needs to impose his will on the game & Mark needs to run with bad intentions & show them what’s up. While we’ll clearly need to have a diverse passing attack to score enough points to win, Mark & all of our RBs can play a critical role churning out the yards & winning the TOP battle (which will help us keep their passing attack sidelined). Go Canes!
 
It is imperative that Mauigoa and Cloyd play all defensive snaps against Texas A&M. They're gonna be throwing slants over the middle, and we need the impact guys playing.

I really hope they cut back on the rotating after game 1.

The drop off from Francisco to Flagg is huge.We need one the young LBs to step up and take that spot.
