Week 1: Miami (OH) - 7pm Friday 09/01

We will win, but in completely lackluster fashion. It will be a red flag for the season and staff.

They were 6-6 ATS in 2021 so the previous season's ATS numbers mean nothing. Especially considering there's 41 new players on the roster and 7 different coaches.
I didn’t say it meant anything when it comes to how we play this year.
Hey, I didn’t say Mohio would cover.

Early season, it does affect the lines.
The book wants even action.
A lot of people out there still think we’re a bad football team.

Point is, if we are going to be as good as we think we are, the early lines for our Canes (and season win total) should be easy money.

“The RedHawks return seven starters on offense, nine on defense and three on special teams, including junior punter Dom Dzioban, a second-team all-conference pick last season who recently was named to the watch list for the Ray Guy Award, awarded annually to the punter judged to be the nation’s best.”

Mario can’t wait to play field position battle against them and control the clock.

Dawson will hopefully not be scared to open it up and try to run up the score

In 2022, if you throw out Bethune, we were...
wait for it...
1-10 AGAINST THE SPREAD
THAT, is difficult to do.

Tempering enthusiasm, I'll go with a Cane's win right at the number.
34-16 sounds about right.
Hopefully, last year was rock bottom but people need to be reminded just how bad we were.

Admittedly, my hopes are up this year with 20+ new players on the team. The only viable excuse I see for not winning a bare minimum of 8 games is injuries.
