Their defense is going to be solid. Return twelve of their top fifteen tacklers. Solid run D, so if Mario goes full battering ram down their throats to make a point...it's going to be a longer game than we want.

Was best defensive unit in the MAC in 2022. Picked up transfers from Louisville and Ohio St as well, although not quite sure how they'll factor into the rotation.

Basically if we don't win by 50 then we need to gas up the planes.

The line is -18.

Athlon Sports picked Ohio's Miami to win the MAC East this year.

Their starting QB should be Brett Gabbert (yes, brother of Blaine), he is a 5th year senior this year, only played in 4 games last season before he was hurt for the year. Had a very respectable year in 2021 (26 TDs to only 6 INTs, 14th in the country in passer rating).

The media poll also picked them to win the East, and 4 of the 13 voters picked them to win the conference (7 votes for Toledo led the way).

I wanna see how Guidry's defense handles them. One of the red flags from Steele last year was how teams would have huge passing plays aganist us - see the MTSU game. Even Bethune and Southern Miss were making plays.

Our defense is going to be the difference between us having a great year and whatever happened last year.

Hope for a lackluster performance escaping by 10ish. A&M blows out their cupcake. We get Miami + a touchdown or more against the ticking time bomb that is A&M.
